Come stay at the Red Barn Hideaway just 7 miles northeast of Emporia. This quaint little house and beautiful red barn have all the space you'll need. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms as well as a futon sofa in the living room and a queen sized air mattress. 3 Tv’s and wifi is available. I stayed here for the Unbound 200 race. The location is great - less than 1 mile to the start/finish downtown Emporia. Every person at Sean's place was participating at Unbound as well - everyone was quite and respectful...and rode bikes too! Sean was a great host, lots of refrigerator space, clean showers, clothes washing ect.

My cousin and I stayed for two nights in June. The air conditioning was so refreshing and the bedding was light and comfortable, so we didn't sweat. We both agreed that the beds were one of the best parts of the stay .. !... I don't know what kind of memory foam they used, but I want to know so I can use it for my own bed! The creative decor was a great catalyst for some fun conversations. A record player, snacks, lounge games and books... all of this and more gave a feeling of relaxation after our long days walking the Tall grass paths in the Flint Hills. Everything was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend chosing this for your stay!

I’ve given a five star review because this was a fantastic place to stay in Emporia and we had a great time while we were there. Unfortunately the host was not available or reachable at the check in time we had agreed upon a week prior, and that 25 minute delay was stressful because we needed to be somewhere. But the beauty, size, and comfort of the apartment outweighed anything negative, and we would certainly stay again.

Lacie’s place was perfect for our one night stay. It was easy to find, quiet, and clean. We had all the amenities we needed and the bed was cozy. Lacie also allowed us to check in a little early since we had an event to be at early on in the day. We had an issue with the wifi, but it was resolved once we got back from our event. I’d stay here again if I’m ever in the area! Great host!
