Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality

We spent 3 nights in Taarbeck and got to know our way around pretty well! We didn't have a car, but were able to catch a bus at the end of the driveway and be at the Klampenborg train station in about 5 minutes. If you miss the bus (which we did once) you can just walk to the train station-- it's about 15-20 minutes but it's on a private path behind all the houses so is a nice walk. On weekends the bus runs hourly (or did when we were there) so plan accordingly, or plan to just walk to the train. Be sure to walk up to the Hermitage and then to the Bakken amusement park -- it's a wonderful walk, with horse-drawn carriages passing along the way, and a sweeping view of the sea from the Hermitage. The house itself is elegant and easy to live in, beautifully decorated and modern. There's a little restaurant nearby, and a self-service grocery but you need a pass to get in. (The locals would let us in if it was locked.) Highly recommended!

I went with my family to visit my brother who lives in the area, it is not the most touristy, but the area is very nice, with the lakes next door and the house with glorious patio is great. The train stop is a 15-minute walk away, and the bus stop is 2 minutes. The house is a nice, very comfortable and with everything you need except for the washing machine. Søren was charming and very attentive. We are sure that when we return to Denmark we will try to stay here again.

From the beginning excellent communication with Henrik, he responded super quickly with questions/problems. The house is 100% as described. Great terrace and garden, 3 beautiful bedrooms, modern kitchen and 2 living rooms on 2 levels. Great location - 15 -20 min to Copenhagen city center by car, public transport can be reached in a few minutes. Beautiful extensive park (Jägersborg Dyrehave) about a 15-minute walk - our dog loved it and so did we:)

Beautiful spacious private yard, nice neat house! Fairly prices compared to other places around. Great location in Lyngby, just about 10 minutes walk to the main street with cafes, malls and supermarkets. Good location for exploring Copenhagen city as well as it's just 10 min away from train station where train will take you to center in 20 minutes. It's possible to park car near the house, which is great as well. Note, there is a church nearby where bell rings at 8 in the morning and rings throughout the day. Hosts reply fast and are very friendly, it's was pleasure to communicate with them! I can definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful and very lovingly decorated house in a picturesque setting. We quickly felt at home and had a good time with great excursions to Copenhagen and the Lousiana Museum. The house is quietly located near a large park and you are on the water very quickly. By train you are in the middle of Copenhagen in a short time. Absolutely recommended! Christine and Stefan

We really enjoyed our stay in Jakob’s lovely clean home. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable and linens clean and good quality.

Shane is really nice and the apartment is tidy and cozy. Very close to the bus station, only 20 mins ish to the city center by bus.

I had a wonderful stay at Jose’s place! The property is located in a quiet, peaceful area on the good side of town, making it a perfect retreat. It’s easily accessible, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel very welcoming. Jose was an excellent host, ensuring everything was in order for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place and would gladly return!

We stayed as a family for a two night road-trip stopover in Copenhagen. This location was great for us. Parking was easy and free and very close to the city center. Kristine’s place was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. 👍

Lovely quiet accommodation, well situated for public transport and free local parking in nearby streets. A really nice stay.

Great Stay for Three Colleagues We were three colleagues sharing this apartment for two weeks, and it worked perfectly for our stay. It was a comfortable and well-equipped space to come back to in the evenings. The location was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The host was responsive and helpful. We stayed for three weeks in Maria's apartment. The apartment is very stylisch and very well located. It is only a 5 min walk to Hellerup ststion and also to the sea. Everything was perfect and worked out very uncomplicated.

Very sweet home with a cozy comfortable feeling. Extremely comfortable beds. Betty was a treat to have around and helped my son fall asleep quick quick. Small green garden. Friendly Neighbors and a quiet walking area in and around the community. I would recommend this accommodation.

A cozy summer house, close to Copenhagen. The house is slightly basic but we had all we needed. Quiet and peaceful area for a relaxed stay. The host is super friendly and easy to communicate with. Recommended!

There is a great view from the summerhouse over the fjord and we enjoyed sitting on the sofa and watching the view. In addition, both the beach and the forest with the possibility of good walks are right at your doorstep. The house is functional and has the necessary amenities.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is very clean and spacious, and has everything you need. We found it particularly relaxing to enjoy the sunny terrace and take in the views. Communication with Karen & Andreas was also good and easy.

positive: spacious and well appointed, easy parking, food shops a few minutes away by car or bike. Well-equipped and modern accommodation. pleasant exteriors. host is responsive and cordial. To be improved: Italian shower that makes the bathroom not passable because the floor remains wet. a toilet water point in the annex would make it more pleasant.

Great place and awesome hot tub. perfect for a romantic get away or a relaxation weekend alone.
