The space
Chateau Saint Georges is a spectacular villa overlooking Cannes and the medieval town of Grasse, a world-renowned capital of perfume making. Built for a renowned perfumer in the 19th century, the chateau is perched within a three-hectare private park with sublime sea views. The gated, exquisitely landscaped property inspires momentous occasions or unforgettable escapes, with ample terraces, superbly restored and updated interiors, a ballroom, a gourmet kitchen, and a fabulous spa with indoor swimming pool. Numerous deluxe perks are available, including chef, spa, and wedding planning services. Seven beautiful bedrooms (including dual master suites and a kid-friendly guestroom) accommodate up to fourteen guests.
This historic home has been called "Little Versailles,” and guests will immediately understand why. Enchanting Mediterranean gardens with towering palm and cypress trees line the driveway as you enter, with antique statues arrayed amid fragrant flowers. Expansive terraces and balconies extend from every level of the home, including the extraordinary tower. A spacious yard can accommodate special ceremonies, alfresco parties, and memorable meals.
The interiors offer diverse spaces for dining, relaxation, and celebration. The drawing room and library feature fine leather sofas, beautifully upholstered chairs, and evocative décor in crimson and gold. The fabulous chef's kitchen flows into a breathtaking dining solarium, while the ballroom features gleaming vintage floors and dazzling chandeliers. Plentiful French doors open to the yard or terraces from virtually every room, allowing the home to breathe the sea-kissed air. In the wonderful spa, a voluminous swimming pool and hot tub are set beneath a celestial ceiling, accompanied by a lounge area, Hammam, and sauna.
The villa includes two master suites, one with a king bed, one with a queen, and each with a fireplace and ensuite bathroom with shower and tub. The queen master enjoys a private balcony, as well. There are four guest suites with king or queen beds, two of which enjoy their own kitchenettes. The children's room has two double-size beds. All of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.
Beyond the luxurious seclusion of Chateau Saint Georges, you're less than three kilometers from Grasses, eight from Saint Donat Golf Academy, and seventeen from Cannes. Nice is about forty kilometers away.
