The space
This lush, tropical villa, located in St. Croix, the largest of the US Virgin Islands, features sweeping views of the ocean and mountains. The property spans over 3.5 acres with a main house, cottage and 2 apartments. Recently renovated, the estate incorporates modern essentials alongside centuries old architecture and history. Take a refreshing plunge into the crystal sea at Cane Bay Beach.

Originally built as a sugar mill in 1791, Estate Belvedere retains its old world charm; the front door is the mill’s original entrance. Guests can sunbathe on comfortable loungers next to the 20x50 foot stone swimming pool, complete with a large deck and views of other islands. Amenities include an entertainment center, Wi-Fi, 2 laundry rooms, a full-time caretaker, and a fully equipped exercise room. The interior showcases elements of design that embody sophistication and are complemented by a selection of elegant furnishings. A gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances makes cooking a pleasure with the added bonus of an herb garden. Why not whip up dinner on the patio barbecue? 

All 6 bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and climate control. Three of them are located in the main building while the 3 remaining bedrooms are found in the tower, each with the added feature of direct outdoor access. Nearby snorkeling and scuba diving are incredibly satisfying. A neighboring Country Club is perfect for golf and tennis enthusiasts, as well as the island’s world-famous bioluminescent bays, which are a feast for the eyes.
