The space
Sugar Hill is a stunning private villa within the Tryall Club on Jamaica's north coast, named by Condé Nast as one of the finest resort destinations in the world. The three-acre estate seems to hover above the vast expanse of sea, inviting you to taste the open-air pleasures of Jamaica. Step into the ample pool for a refreshing swim and revel in the Caribbean sun on stylish loungers. Kindle the wood-burning pizza oven in the afternoon (using in-season produce from the gardens), and relish your lunch alfresco under the flower-clad pergola. Slip into the hot tub for an evening soak and savor home-made cocktails in the nocturnal breeze.
The home was designed in a traditional Jamaican antebellum style, with vaulted mahogany ceilings, superb local artwork, and vibrant touches of lush floral tones. The living room features beautiful furnishings, a Television and sound system, and multiple sets of French doors framing the ocean vistas. The dining room boasts an exquisite, custom-built table surrounded by hand-carved chairs. The games room includes pool, ping-pong and fusbol tables, and there is a well-equipped exercise room in the guesthouse.
All eight bedrooms enjoy air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms, and entertainment systems, and several features balconies with breathtaking views. The main house primary suite includes a king bed, private veranda, and alfresco shower. The Guest Cottage is ideal for a family, with a queen bed and two twins in the upstairs primary suite, accompanied by three smaller twin suites.
Sugar Hill is within walking distance or a short golf cart ride to the heart of the Tryall Club, including its tennis center, fitness and spa facilities, kids' club, and market. The resort features 2,200 acres of oceanfront property with a championship golf course and enchanting beach. The Beach Café and Great House Restaurant are both fabulous dining options. Sangster International Airport is a short drive away.
