The space

Not only is it part of the five-star Tryall Club on the island’s northwest coast, this luxury six-bedroom vacation rental is perched on the top of Mahogany Hill and affords panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, the Tryall Golf Club and the lush tropical forests spilling down toward the water. Let the villa’s staff see to meals and beverages while you and up to sixteen friends or family members relax by the private pool or enjoy the shared resort amenities.
Guests of Bumper’s Nest are welcome to use the shared Tryall Club golf course, tennis courts and kids’ club, and to borrow non-motorized water sports equipment. Your stay at the villa also includes chef, butler, housekeeping and laundry service from experienced staff, some of whom have been at the Club for more than 30 years. The heart of the property is a nearly 100-foot-long pool deck with tempting rows of loungers and a 50-foot infinity pool, but you can also opt to relax in the hammock, hot tub, porch swing or one of the sofas on the shaded veranda. Sip drinks from the outdoor bar while you wait for the barbecue to heat up, then linger into the evening around the al-fresco dining table or firepit.
Bumper’s Nest was recently renovated, and its bright, charming living and formal dining rooms take full advantage of the tropical sunshine, ocean breezes and stunning views. Vaulted ceilings and fold-away glass or louvered doors in several rooms enhance the light, airy feeling, and natural-fiber rugs add warm, organic texture. Turquoise accent pillows top off the white wicker and bamboo furniture in beachy style. Though chef service is included in your stay, the villa does have a fully equipped kitchen—and even an organic herb garden.
There are four bedrooms in the main house at Bumper’s Nest and two in a separate primary-suite cottage; all six have en-suite bathrooms. The main house has three bedrooms with king beds and one with two queen beds, all of which open to terraces with sitting areas. The cottage’s two bedrooms have a king bed and two double beds, respectively, and you’ll also find the property’s fitness room and hot tub here.
Whether you’ve come to Jamaica for a tropical destination wedding, warm-weather honeymoon or relaxed beach holiday, the island has plenty to offer. Start your stay with a flight into Sangster International Airport, a 15-mile drive from the Tryall Club. Once you’ve arrived at Bumper’s Nest, you’re a 10-minute walk from the beach and shared Tryall Club amenities (and a short drive from several other beaches), and a 12-minute walk from the golf course. Stroll up Mayfield Falls, spend a night out in Montego Bay or sample the goods at the Appleton Estate Sugar and Rum Factory.
