We had a fantastic family stay at Casa da Ti Dores in Cativelos! The house is full of charm, beautifully restored, and very comfortable for families. It had everything we needed — cozy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a peaceful setting. The warm pool was the highlight for all of us — absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. Our kids loved it, and so did we! The village is quiet and welcoming, and it’s a great base for discovering Serra da Estrela. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing, authentic getaway. We hope to return!

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

My husband and I needed a break in the country side and James place was perfect. James gave us some great tips for the area.His house and farm are very big and beautiful and we had a very relaxing few days. The little town of villa de rei is only 10 min away. Great bush-walks with lovely cool waterfalls and places to swim are near by.Definitely can recommend James place to anyone.We hope to come back one day.

Paradise! a haven of peace, surrounded by the river, nature. An absolutely beautiful and comfortable home. We really refreshed ourselves and our 3-day stay at Paula's was our best experience in Portugal. The surroundings are splendid: the small shale villages, the countryside, Coimbra, the houses of the surrounding villages, the gardens. We plan to come back one day, it's a house that creates memories!

As a family of 5 traveling with little kids we felt right at home! Although the restaurants and market are 5 mins or 1-2 miles from the house it’s not a walkable area. When exiting the house be careful because of the traffic on the highway. Very clean home and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Kids enjoyed the back yard and basketball goal and video games in the living room. We enjoyed the country scenery. Was able to get an Uber and have the same driver each trip to the market and restaurants. Uber trip from the house to local markets and restaurants is €3. Would stay here again! Family friendly! Lots of space! Adequate heating in the home!

Phantastic house with a beautiful huge garden, lake view and direct access to the lake. The house is a traditional stone house but the interior is very tasteful and modern. The house itself is great but the outside is even better. A large garden with different areas and absolutely beautiful trees and plants. You can see and feel that João and his family have put a lot of love into the house and the garden and thought of every detail. Bi Strong recommendation if you want to stay in a lovely house that is spacious but also very private. João is a very attentive host and very friendly. We were greeted with a warm smile, self made Olive oil and freshly picked lemons from the garden. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. 🙂🤩

Very well-kept accommodation in a quiet and peaceful area. With our own vehicle, we were in a well-situated place to explore the nearest regions.

I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

All was perfect! We were warmly welcomed. She was incredibly sweet and the communication went absolutely smoothly. Thanks to the breathtaking view, the Airbnb was one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed in. We were surprised with jam, fresh bread and cheese as a welcome - a really delicious and loving gesture. We were able to enjoy our stay to the fullest and felt completely comfortable from the first moment. Thanks u so much!

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Hello Mr. Pedro! We would like to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it is quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

the space is even better than the photos, rooms with bathroom on the first floor and on the second floor a unique space with everything you need to stay with your family, I hope to return soon.
