The Key Berry Farm is in a great location to discover Fiordland. We are located one and a half hours from Queenstown and Invercargill airport and 20 minutes from Te Anau and Manapouri and 2 hours to Milford Sound. You’ll love the relaxed and picturesque surroundings. The guesthouse is located on our property we we live, where we grow raspberries and keep a few fat sheep. We are easy to find and are very welcoming hosts. My place is good for couples, or 2 adults and up to 2 children, or any adventurers. We look forward to meeting you.
“Sue and Mac are incredible hosts, they made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the property. They have been kind and generous throughout our stay, and have helped us through a difficult time. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at the farm, the accommodation is tidy, comfortable, and well organised. Everything you will need for a stay is provided, the shower is particularly good. There is a heater for when it gets a bit cooler, a comfortable sofa to sit on, a good range of cooking implements (along with the cooker and microwave), and a decent size fridge freezer. The bed is large and comfortable. The local countryside is absolutely stunning, and the fresh air is amazing.”
Welcome to my home a peaceful cottage in the heart of Gore . I supply a range of cereals, toast and spreads for breakfast. Within a 10 minute walk to town. Private off street parking up the driveway. Free access to washing machine, washing powder and dryer .
“Such a wonderful place ! We stayed 7 nights and felt like at home. Well located next to supermarkets and close to the Catlins NP. Spacious room with a large wardrobe, electric blankets and a heater to feel warm during winter. The bed is big and comfy. Nana provided a generous breakfast (tea, coffee, bread, cereals, spreads and fresh milk so delicious !) You will have everything you need to cook in the kitchen. The house was cleaned up everyday and new fresh towels were available each morning! It was a pleasure to have Nana as host, she was respectful and always available. Bonus: two beautiful dogs 🐕 ! We would definitely come back !”
A country getaway that is nestled in the heartland of the Southern Scenic Route and near the gateway to Fiordland. This retreat is suitable for all travellers, horse lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. If you are after a real New Zealand farm experience make a booking. Depending on the time of year there will be different things to do and see on the farm. Shearing a sheep, feeding lambs or calves, horses, always something to do on the farm, no riding the horses from February 22 till March 2 thanks
“My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Suzie's place during part of our honeymoon and, like everyone else, wished we could have stayed a second night! The farmhouse is HUGE - it really can fit a lot of people comfortably, let alone the two of us - and the parlor is to die for. Traveled across NZ and the sunrise here was the best we saw anywhere. Horseback riding was relaxing, and there's so much to do nearby. A wonderful, chill, time. Suzie is a great host with an awesome sense of humor and personality. Hope to be back one day.”
