The “Casa do Feitor” is a part of an old house in Quinta do Vilar, located in the Douro Valley. You'll be surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees and vegetable gardens. There are farm animals and a mediterranean forest with oak, cork oak and arbutus trees. This is an eco-system which we look after with the utter most love and respect. It's our mission to honour, regenerate and preserve this system by respecting its identity including all the elements which take part in it.

It’s fully renovated, converted in an idyllic, peaceful and charming home. This barn owned by our grandmother Amelia has become a mixture of the past and the present where you can breathe tranquility and enjoy all the comforts you can imagine. We've put our heart into every corner of Mirada de Amelia so that our guests take a piece of it with them during their stay.

The Casa Museu da Avó Gena is a friendly house with capacity for 4 people, located in the Village of Mazouco. It has two full double bedrooms, a fully refurbished kitchen/living room in 2024, full bathroom and two sofa bed. It is fully equipped and we offer linen and towels. It has a private museum of traditional pieces from the region that can be visited upon availability of the owner. Check in and check out to combine.

Relax Container

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).
