The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

It is a renovated stone house located above the village fountain, popular in the surrounding area for its pure water. Novelães is a very quiet village just 5 km from the foot of Serra da Estrela between Gouveia and Seia. The house has a large space with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The studio is part of the large authentic private house of the Dutch owners, located in Provesende, a traditional and, for several years, protected wine village in the heart of the Douro Valley. UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the house are three studios with their own entrance and two rooms. The garden and swimming pool are for communal use.
