What a great place to have a family vacation! The house has everything you need. The flat pad, paddle boards, and kayaks were awesome. The kids had a blast playing on the beach. The outdoor kitchen area is awesome for grilling and the cowboy pool was perfect For relaxing. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away. Beautiful sunrises over the lake and very quiet and peaceful. The host is fantastic and was very responsive when I had questions. I would give this 10 stars if I could. We will definitely be back!

We can’t say enough good things about this amazing home. We loved every minute of our time here!!! Our family was able to have a getaway during a busy wedding weekend. Carolyn’s place was welcoming, and a great place to sit back and relax while we visited with loved ones. We loved the pool area and the living area! We will definitely come when we need a good East Texas vacation!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. It’s in such a safe and quiet neighborhood where people are out walking or jogging and kids were riding scooters around the block. We made plenty of use of the huge yard and the nice pool. Georgina made everything clear about anything we needed to know.

Lovely home. The beds were comfortable, and the place was very clean. It’s a bit dated, but still very nice and comfortable. Kitchen was stocked, although a little mismatched and a little hard to find things. Be advised the decor (as seen in the photos) is very eccentric and may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Garage did not fit our full sized SUV (Jeep Waggoner) but wasn’t a problem. Only complaint, which is not the hosts fault, is the neighbor next door has a large dog that they leave on the porch which was prone to loud barking at all hours of the day and night. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing! Felt just like home! Had everything we needed! All amenities plus more! Literally all we needed was our clothes and food! Had a couple of issues. Yr Amy and Jimmy were very quick at responding. Highly recommend if you’re going to Nac for graduation. Our family enjoyed our stay! Thank you again Amy and Jimmy!!

We stayed here for a graduation weekend and overall had a great experience. The host was incredibly accommodating—she allowed my family to come by to take pictures, which meant a lot to us, and she was quick to respond anytime we had questions. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The only thing to note is that the address doesn’t take you directly to the house, and when we arrived around 9pm, there were no exterior lights on, which made it a bit tricky to find in the dark. Other than that, everything went smoothly, and we really appreciated the hospitality!

We could not stop raving over this home. It was beautifully updated inside and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. I loved the combo Keurig machine that makes both pots and cups, as well as the wide assortment of coffees and teas. The beds were very comfortable, and each bedroom offered a lovely view of the tall trees. The living room was spacious with a big-screen TV. We especially loved the chairs on the porch, where we could enjoy the bird songs. It was a great place to pray and just breathe. My 88-year-old mother said it was the nicest accommodations she's ever enjoyed in her whole life! We will definitely return to this location when we come for other family events.

This was a excellent remote location. it was strategic for our work at the surrounding areas Lowes. Place was like new. We loved how private it was. The dug out 20ft wall along the ravine made it look like a movie and would be a great spot to plink. We didn't know the rules about shooting so we didn't want to anger the neighbors. The home itself was way to nice for us contractors but exactly what we needed. Be careful of the walk way at night there are gaps in the stone but once you walk it you figure the best place walk. only suggestion I'll make to anyone staying get to a grocery store early. Things close and the closest places are 20 to 40 minutes away. other than that the place is perfect.

We really enjoyed Pam’s home near Nacogdoches! The house was beautifully decorated and everything from the couches to the beds was very comfortable. We loved relaxing on the porch and enjoying the peaceful forested surroundings.

this was in the area of our family reunion, and this jewel was 8 mins away from the park it was to be held. the beds were amazing and clean, the outdoor space was substantial, and the nature sounds was awesome. if given the opportunity I would use again. thank you for my first experience with Airbnb.

This was a very nice BNB and great location for a single couple or staying for a tournament. Spotless home and very accommodating.

Kimberly and Bryan were very helpful and so nice. The Airb&b was jaw dropping. Opening the front door and seeing the beautiful view of the reservoir was so peaceful and so beautiful. Would recommend all my family and friends that want to have a weekend getaway to the hideaway.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay, as we were dropping off our SFA freshman; The Dawson House allowed time for us to unwind, relax, and properly say our see you laters. We definitely are looking forward to booking again.

This home has it all…spacious, comfortable and full of history! We have stayed here twice and it’s the most warm and inviting place in town close to everything! I especially love having my coffee on the front porch and a glass of wine around the firepit!

perfect location. we had a small hiccup with the AC but the host was friendly qbd accommodating. we really enjoyed our stay here. beautiful home.
