Cornelia is a fantastic host. Although we contacted her very late and spontaneously passing through Italy, she made everything possible to allow us a very nice stay. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful, the adventurous journey including cable car is worthwhile. We will be happy to come back.

This was truly one of the best stays I’ve ever booked on Airbnb! The location is absolutely top-notch — very close to everything we wanted to see and do. The place itself was beautiful, spotless, and had such a warm, welcoming vibe. The washroom was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed, making our stay extra comfortable. But what really made this stay special were the hosts. They are an amazing, warm, and hospitable family who went out of their way to make us feel at home. From the moment they greeted us, they were always available to help with anything we needed. Every request we had was promptly taken care of, and their recommendations for places to eat and visit were detailed and incredibly helpful. Thanks to them, we discovered some real local gems we might have otherwise missed. All in all, a fantastic experience — beautiful place, perfect location, and the kindest hosts. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting the area!

This place is a real insider tip. Knowledge is very happy that we came across it and had a wonderful time there. Daniel and Suzan are very friendly, warm landlords. We felt immediately comfortable and were lovingly received. The view from the room, simply breathtaking. Every morning there was freshly baked bread and a deliciously prepared cereal with fresh fruit. Suzan prepared delicious breakfast eggs according to our wishes and we rarely got such a good coffee in an accommodation. We were always well equipped for our day tours. The area offers excellent opportunities for walking and lingering, cycling and swimming. We will definitely be back.

For the price, this family room in the youth hostel was conveniently located 4 minutes walking from Local train station , 1 stop from Zug central with 25 minute connection to Zurich . Basic amenities - just a bed and bathroom and towels / soap . Friendly hostel reception helps with queries.

The room was small but very clean with everything we needed (including adapters for outlets). We had booked a paid parking space in advance, useful when you arrive late at night. Check-in was easy and electronic thanks to an outdoor machine to collect the keys and pay for parking and the presence of my dog. I had the nice surprise of finding a cozy niche with bowls, an adorable attention. Even though the bathroom is common, we found it modern and clean. To visit Lucerne, staying in this Guesthouse one night was for us economical. We recommend this place, perfect for a short stay!

Patrick’s place was exactly as described—a wonderful, quiet retreat on the outskirts of Engelberg. It has a very homey & cozy vibe. Our room was clean, spacious, and easily accessible. The instructions provided were clear, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. Towels were readily available in the room. The only minor point to note is that while a soap bar was provided, there was no liquid soap or shower gel. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

We stayed one night in the cute wooden cabin and were positively surprised. Everything has been thought of. Warm blankets, heating in case it gets cold at night, pushing. Cornelia welcomed us very warmly and was always accommodating. The fondue set in the evening and breakfast with the most magnificent view was our highlight and we can only recommend it! The scenery is breathtaking. You could come down very well and you can take small walks or hikes. Free parking is available downstairs in the valley station in St. Jakob. The ride with the cable car back and forth costs 16 CHF per person. We would repeat exactly that!
