Bothag Bhuirgh Family pod

The family pod has a small double bed and two single beds. There is a kettle in the room as well as tea bags, coffee, sugar sachets, milk portions. The family pod has private use of the pod next door, which has a toilet, shower and wash hand basin. All toiletries, linen and towels provided. It is most suitable for a couple with 2 children, or 3 adults. It would be a tight squeeze for 4 adults. The guests can have shared use of the barn with campers and it has all amenities required for cooking.

The property has recently been refurbished with a new kitchen, bathroom, new wooden flooring and carpets throughout. Our house is in the small village of Dalmore on the westside of Lewis. The house is minutes walk from the beautiful Dalmore beach and pets are welcome (MAX 2 pets - see house rules for more info). There are many areas of interest close by, including the Gearrannann Blackhouse village, the Dun Broch and we are about 15 minutes drive away from the famous Standing Stones. There is a local shop 5 minutes drive from the properly in Carloway. We are approx 30 minutes drive away from Stornoway.

Mackay House, Isle of Lewis

MacKay House is situated 7 miles from Stornoway on the east coast of the Island in the village of Coll. While enjoying the rural location it is only a 15 minute drive to the town centre which has shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The house, a former crofting house, has recently been refurbished to a high standard to cater for the modern day visitor to this scenic and stunning island. There are beaches from as little as a 10 minute walk from the house. Ample off street car parking.

It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.
