Kid-friendly holiday rentals in L'Oudon

Nice house in a lovely, albeit quite rural location (as many places are in Normandy). The place is still a “work in progress), in that there is work going on to further develop the garden and grounds, but the house itself is great. Agathe est une hôte charmante, très disponible et réactive. La maison est bien aménagée. L'environnement est paisible et agréable avec des chats, des oies, des poules et un adorable lapin. Nous sommes restées deux nuits lors de notre passage dans la région. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion se présente.

The gite is an amazing place to stay and has been stunningly designed. This was our second time visiting and we look forward to returning in the future. Jean Pierre and Chantal are great hosts and always on hand to help.

needed somewhere to hang clothes in bedrooms. no mirror in bedroom. no hanging hooks in downstairs bathroom. no instructions how to use the TV. faulty socket to TV and Bose speaker which prevented use of TV. No heating in the salon/lounge. however a beautiful location lovely grounds and an attractive property and we enjoyed our stay.

We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf. Het huisje is erg fijn, schoon en compleet ingericht. De tuin is heerlijk en goed omheind waardoor onze hond ook lekker vrij kon snuffelen en spelen. We voelden ons thuis en vonden het jammer om weer te vetrekken.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Not only was the home cozy and beautifully appointed, but the tranquil surroundings and farmland were spectacular. Highly recommend!

Très bon week end dans cette très agréable longère Normande. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et sympathiques. Le logement proposé est conforme aux attentes, fidèle au photo et très propre. La salle de jeu a ravi notre petite fille de 2 ans; elle a également profité du jardin et de la découverte des vaches qui séjournent dans le pré adjacent. Je recommande vivement ce logement si vous avez envie de calme et de déconnexion.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment, une parenthèse magique dans un endroit cocooning et paisible. L’appartement est très calme et très bien réfléchi dans les moindres détails et accessoires. Merci Delphine pour ce joli moment.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view was amazing and the place had everything we were looking for. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach her. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking to get away from the city for a few days.

Merci à Sébastien pour son accueil dans son logement très sympa, grand et confortable. Sébastien est très réactif et sympathique. Dommage qu'on n'ai pas pu se croiser, suite à mon arrivée tardive. Sébastien prend soin de ses hôtes et sait les accueillir (brioche, café/thé, lait, eau et bouteille de cidre). Franchement top. En plus, Sébastien lit les "Joe bar Team", donc a beaucoup de goût :-) Tout est là pour passer un bon séjour, et au calme. Parfait, surtout pour quelqu'un qui travaille de nuit. Sébastien est très arrangeant et je le remercie encore mille fois pour sa gentillesse. Je garde l'adresse sous le coude pour mes prochaines venues ;-)

Alison has a few gites available and mine was absolutely perfect. I wanted piece and quiet and wasn't disappointed. I didn't explore beyond the gardens apart from a trip to get groceries. The garden is full of flowers and is beautiful. Alison is English so communication was excellent for me and I believe she's fluent in French too. I wouldn't hesitate rebooking this gite in the future.

bonjour , Dorothée nous a très bien accueillie et bien expliqué. nous y reviendrons quand nous retournerons à Falaise l'an prochain pour notre tournoi de badminton.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end chez Frédéric, l’appartement est moderne, bien agencé, bien fourni, il ne manquait rien ! Et que dire de l’emplacement exceptionnel avec ce balcon et sa vue sur la mer. Tout ça à deux pas du centre. Frédéric nous a toujours répondu très vite et a été très arrangeant. Nous avons été accueilli par Michel à l’arrivée qui a été très accueillant. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Un super week-end dans un studio plein de charme, avec une vue sur mer absolument magnifique ! L’endroit est calme, reposant et très bien situé, parfait pour se ressourcer. La communication avec Karine a été excellente du début à la fin. On s’y sent vraiment bien… et ça donne envie de revenir très vite ! Merci encore

Agréable séjour chez karin. Proche du centre ville et de la mer. Commerce à proximité et belle balade à faire le long du littoral.

Très beau logement idéalement situé face à la mer. Calme et reposant. Katrin nous a accueilli chaleureusement, avec quelques conseils pour notre séjour. Nous mettons ce logement dans nos favoris et ne manquerons pas d'y retourner.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, l’appartement était impeccable, la résidence sécurisée et à deux pas de la plage et de restaurants ; Olivier a été très attentionné et nous a conseillé des activités à Villers que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Le logement proposé par David est tip top ! Le calme, une vue imprenable sur la mer, coucher de soleil depuis la "terrasse véranda", un emplacement à 20 minutes de Caen qui permet de profiter de la ville, de la campagne et des bords de mer ! Quoi dire d'autre ? Un hôte disponible, et pour finir, une déco sympa qui rajoute du charme à ce we en amoureux sur les plages de Normandie ! Les yeux fermés vous pouvez louer!
