Cottage holiday rentals in Longview

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location was perfect, right on the lake. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Very private and secluded. The space was clean and comfortable. We will be back again!! Thank you so much!

I needed a place to just unwind and relax for a couple of days. I was looking for a place that was quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature, scenic, and go fishing! This place was all of the above and then some. (There's also a very nice golf course just down the street) Mike and Sheryl make you feel right at home. They are both very friendly and kind. They kept their fridge stocked with drinks and breakfast foods. There is also a coffeemaker, microwave, and toaster in the common/kitchenette area. I even caught my biggest catfish off their brand new dock! (5lbs). I will definitely be back for another stay. I highly recommend staying at Mike & Sheryl's lake side house.

We absolutely loved our quick weekend getaway, this place is truly a gem! I loved the vintage lake house decor/feeling, we felt right at home. The views are beautiful, the property itself is very well maintained, loved the landscaping and the big beautiful trees! It was so nice to just walk out and hop in the lake, rinse off and hop in the hot tub later, with views through the whole cabin! My fiancé enjoyed golfing near by, we cooked and ate our meals on the patio, and enjoyed the scenery. We were more than comfortable for our entire stay. Communication was great, and they stocked us up with water, snacks, and a bottle of wine - even had a pot of coffee made on our arrival. Grateful we were able to stay here! We will absolutely be back!

We were able to get into the home with a wheelchair ramps fairly easy. I know that the host clearly indicated some issues with the wheel chair accessibility of the Home. it would be great to allow more wheelchair bound individuals to enjoy Holly Lake if maybe grab bars could be installed in the bathroom downstairs. Wonderful stay!!!! Beautiful home!!!

Had a great stay, everything was fantastic. The views of the lake were outstanding, the screened in porch was special. The sunsets on the lake were superb, very colorful. The inside decor was well done. Really appreciate Laurie for letting us enjoy her beautiful lake house. We were blessed to observe all the wildlife, birds, eagles, herons, buzzards and a pair of deer in the back yard. Highly recommend staying with Laurie.

Pam was absolutely a wonderful host and I cannot recommend her amazing and peaceful place more! It’s a “must stay” and definitely one of the nicest Airbnbs in the area! What an amazing get away and host! Thank you Pam!

We had a wonderful time and loved this spot so much! Kristi was amazing with any questions and the house was fully stocked with whatever we needed. Outside the lake was wonderful with kayaks and rafts to keep you busy for days. We will definitely be booking again. We enjoyed every minute of it!

Very nice people great please

Due to an unfortunate mixup regarding the day we were booked to arrive, the stay was cut short by two days. Despite all of this, Jerry is a host who goes above and beyond to please his guests. His cabins offer a great place for those who are there for recreational activities such as fishing tournaments and to enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature and her offerings, in this gorgeous area of Texas. A peaceful place to be to escape the fast paced lives so many people are accustomed to.

Large home but also cozy and comfortable. Short visit but plan to come back! Chris is a great host!!

Linnea’s place was perfect for what we needed and looking for. Very comfortable, had everything we needed, she was always available and quick to respond. Ready to go back.

Wow! This is such an oasis in the heart of beautiful east Texas. The home was cozy and sweet. The lake was gorgeous. My family loved the boat house dock. Lots of fishing and lots of use of their kayaks. Thank you Toni! Jimmy

The home is lovely, particularly the spacious yard! We enjoyed our coffee on the front & back porch. Thanks for great accommodations.

The "cabin" was a well-appointed home that slept 6 or more. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets and pillows and comforters. The mini-split ac/heaters worked very well and were well placed and easy to use. Bathrooms were strategically placed with plenty of linens, etc. The kitchen had plenty of supplies as needed as far as pots and pans and accoutrement. The living room was very comfortable with the large sofa with recliners on each end, TV and game sets attached. The deck was very comfortable with the Adirondak chairs and plenty of room. Down by the water there were more chairs and a fire pit with stumps to use as tables as needed. It was very pretty and serene. We truly enjoyed ourselves - two sisters on a sister time out!

Lindsey’s place was fantastic! It was even better in person than the pictures! Communication & instructions were clear & timely & the place was beautiful. I highly recommend Lindsey’s place & would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location. Very quiet and peaceful area. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. He was very flexible with us. We had a last minute cancelation and Vic was able to accommodate us and offered easy check-in and check-out times. Nicely equipped kitchen and great air conditioning. We caught plenty of fish in the pond. I will stay here again.

We were just at the cottage 2 nights. The beds were comfortable. The cottage very eclectic. Interesting decor. Felt like a home. The view out the front window was nice. Could see the birds and pretty trees. She had put out some hanging baskets which was nice. And had snacks for us. Overall pleasant stay.

We had a group of guys stay here for the weekend and we had a great time. The pool was great to enjoy and the kitchen was well suited for our meal prep during the stay. We used the poker table and chips that were in the BnB for hours! It was a blast. The place was exactly as Amelia described it and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely come back here again.

Amazing place to stay, work or relax. Everything is as described and much more! Five stars. Highly recommended.
