Cabin holiday rentals in Long Lake

The cabin was one of the best places that we’ve stayed at through Airbnb! It had everything that you would want and the location was fantastic. It is a 10 minute drive to Manchester, a really cute town, and very close to many hiking options. The completely fenced in yard was great for our dog. We loved our stay here!

We came up for a few nights to elope in the mountains with our two dogs. Meghan was so accommodating. This is our second time at this cabin but plan on making this our go to vacation spot when we come to Lake Placid!

We had a great stay overall! The location is peaceful and remote—perfect for a quiet getaway in the Adirondacks. Just a heads-up: cell service is very limited in the area, so make sure to set your GPS directions before you arrive. The house itself was in good order and matched the listing—clutter-free and comfortable. While it could have used a deeper clean, it was tidy and functional and accurate to the listing. The beds were especially excellent—super comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. Would recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. The host Daniel is excellent and a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and proactive, and it's clear he takes pride in his AirBnB business.

What a truly lovely sanctuary. We spent five wonderful nights in this cabin. The lake was beautiful, and everything was so quiet. Kitchen has everything you need plus! The decor was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful vacation, even though it rained almost every day, we didn't care just relaxing in this cabin, reading books and playing games, was well worth it. Thank you so much for this beautiful location. On a side note, we had a campfire one night and the Loons were serenading us. I taped them and have listened to it many times since returning.

This was a lovely Adirondack cabin getaway. very private and peaceful surroundings, and its just close enough (~15/20 min) to town and 25 min to Lake George. The home was clean and cozy with a fun basement full of activities and an amazing hot tub!! Uzma and Billy were very responsive throughout our visit. I'd definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Leanne's cabin - there's sort of a waterfall running right by the backyard that is easily accessible. The wood stove kept us warm inside, while the hot tub did its job outside - we spent a lot of time in there stargazing! As others mentioned, the water in the cabin has a slightly sulfuric smell, albeit harmless - if you can't stand it, better to get some gallon jugs for drinking water. Leanne was super helpful, flexible, and responsive, we'd love to come back again if she'll have us! Also, for what it's worth, the WiFi in the cabin was super fast.

Our stay at Luxe Logs was fantastic. To start, Todd shared a very comprehensive welcome guide in advance that was easy to follow and very helpful in getting acquainted with the property. Todd even proactively provided us early check-in without our asking. The property itself was wonderful and perfectly located for Adirondack activities. You really felt like you were deep in the woods, but still just a 5 minute drive to Gore for skiing and less than 10 minutes to town and restaurants. The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was the perfect balance of quaint/rustic and modern/luxury. After a long day of skiing, the sitting area was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed with appliances, cookware, and probably the most spices I've seen at an AirBnB. Everything was just as shown in the pictures and we honestly couldn't think of any complaints. Would 100% stay again.

Bob and Joan’s cabin was absolutely spectacular. Overall this place is the perfect mountain getaway! This place has all the amenities you could need, prime commute to surrounding ADK regions, and let’s not forget the breathtaking views. This place exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed for a get away to the mountains with the dog. Bob was an amazing host and we look forward to coming back, as well as passing along this gem to friends and family to also book with Bob & Joan!

Cabin was a perfect Adirondack getaway. It had everything we needed, a nice sized kitchen area with all the pots, pans and cutlery, including cast iron pans to cook with over the open fire outback, where were enjoyed a fire by the flowing brook each night. The loft bed was very comfortable, and the wood fired stove was a pleasant addition to the chilly evening. The outhouse was clean and easily accessible. Michael and Burju were very responsive and left detailed instructions on how to get to the property, as well as descriptions and instructions of all the various amenities. We would absolutely stay again!

Very clean space with welcoming charm and decor. Loved falling asleep listening to the river. Loved the hammock beside the river. Enjoyed coffee in the screened in porch listening to the river rushing by. The sauna was fantastic and easy to use. Bed was very comfortable. Very easy to get around to all the surrounding towns. Lots of restaurant options. Great experience all around.

This was a beautiful home. It’s extremely warm and welcoming and served our family well for the weekend.

Home is beautiful and host was communicative even checking on us mid-stay. Our only suggestion is to provide additional washcloths. We did not have enough for our party of four. The location is beautiful, however, we chose the wrong lcation for the bike ralley because we were not familiar with the area. For someone looking for a quiet remote location, this will be the perfect get-a-way spot.

We had a lovely stay at Aileen’s. The cottage is waterfront, so we were easily able to launch our SUP, and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch with lake views.

We enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day getaway at Brian's home. It is a spectacular home: private, quiet and nestled into the woods, but very close to the amenities of downtown Old Forge. Access to an indoor heated pool ensured children were entertained and there was always something to do, no matter the weather (which happened to be perfect, anyhow!). Brian's property manager, Heidi, was extremely professional and clearly takes pride in a job well done. Would recommend to others and look forward to staying there again one day. myself.

Jake was an excellent host. My partner and I visit ADK at least once a year. This was our first time in Indian Lake and we very much enjoyed our time. The place is so neat, clean, and provided everything we needed and more. The view from the dining room was perfect to sip our morning brew and watch the sunrise or to watch the sun set with a nice cup of tea. The neighborhood is quiet and there is plenty to do in the area. It’s in the center of other great surrounding towns as well. We look forward to return sometime in the future. Thanks Jake!

Kyle was a great host who responded quickly to any concerns we had. The instructions were very thorough, leaving no room for error or confusion. The house felt very cozy and had everything that was listed. It was definitely a great stay and will be recommending to others.

This cabin was truly impeccable. The attention to detail was outstanding. If you’re into a cozy old-school cabin vibes you will not be disappointed! Incredibly clean and tidy. We appreciated all the time and theme appropriate details and decorations. Compared to many Airbnb’s the accommodations and accessories were way higher quality and more abundant. The fireplace was a real treat. Throughout our whole stay my friends and I were remarking on the quality of the place!

The cabin was so cozy with many thoughtful touches, so peaceful, so relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there. Of note - the stairs leading to the deck overlooking the lake were very steep and very narrow. My sister has limited vision and it was difficult for her to maneuver without assistance. I did not see any mention of this in the property description. The property description listed a dock, which was not in place during our stay. We paid a $300 cleaning fee and per check-out instructions, we were expected to take all our garbage and recycling to a transfer station with a permit (expired) the host supplied. We ended up loading all the garbage/recycling in our SUV and taking it home. This was a little disappointing.

Loved the lake acess and lake views from the couch and living room. The fire pit is nice to stargaze and keep the bugs away for a nice camping like experience. Was buggy due to rain so definitely bring off/bug spray or something for outside bugs. Lake was still cold but would love to come back and swim with the private water access from backyard

Nice Cabin that was a nice blend of rustic with new construction and modern amenities. Tastefully decorated. Nearby to Long Lake and convenient to the SUNY Newcomb campus and Adirondack Interpretive Center. One of our children is doing an internship over the summer there. Reasonably close to other locations such as Tupper Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, Fulton lake chain and Old Forge. We didn't need any of the indoor heating options or indoor wood stove but we did make use of the outdoor fire pit both nights and had very nice campfire. Only slight drawback would be that the property is closer to the road than I expected and there is some noise from passing vehicles occasionally but most of the time it was pretty quiet. Black flies are prevalent everywhere in Adirondacks mid May to early August. If you forget repellent (like we did) you'll pay about double at most local shops. Overall a nicely appointed cabin and an excellent stay. We plan to book again! The cabin would be nice in fall too!

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at Kat's cottage and experience the beautiful Adirondack autumn- the views were spectacular and the cottage was perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, easy access to Owl Head for hiking, as well as the isolation to relax and enjoy the foliage. The cottage was quaint and well stocked, with plenty of outdoor space and a warm, cozy interior. We will definitely consider staying again the next time we're looking for a beautiful weekend getaway!

We had a really great time here! The beachfront was great for keeping our toddler entertained, and the house is close enough to town to walk for coffee or ice cream. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed!
