Waterfront holiday rentals in Loire Valley

Lovely apartment with views of the Loire River, perfectly located on the main plaza across from the chateau (less than five minute walk). Free parking garage (huge bonus, but difficult to locate at first ... walk to the right of the front door, then circle around behind the building on the riverside). Comfortable beds. Bathroom is split between a shower room with sink (attached to one of the bedrooms, but accessible from either side) and a toilet room. Fantastic coffee maker grinds fresh beans on demand. A bit noisy at night on the weekend due to setting up the excellent market which is just outside the front door. Note: for those with limited mobility, it is located on the European second floor (American third floor) with no elevator.

Cosy and functional housing. Very well equipped kitchen! Small downside on the bedroom, we regretted that there is no real door to separate the bedroom from the "living room" part. Free parking just next door is a plus too.

Nice place to stay. Everything you needed was there and host was responsive.

Great location-walkable restaurants & grocery markets. Enjoyed exploring the area near the castle & by car. The apartment was quiet at night even though it was on a busy road. Cars seemed to become fewer at night. Nice to have washing machine and good written instruction book on the apartment. Very nicely decorated, comfortable and nice to have ample soaps, towels & coffee. (things that some places are stingy with) This place is a great find!

We had a pleasant weekend at Nolwen's place. The house is spacious (we were 6 adults and 5 children) and well equipped. Even though the sun wasn't there, we enjoyed the garden which was great. The house is well placed to shine around; the path that leads to the city center is nice to walk with the kids.

Exceptional welcome in Helene's little nest, where nothing is missing! Comfortable beds, spacious shower, and the garden that looks like a corner of paradise. Her home is perfect both for walking to the center of Le Mans and for visiting the 24-HOUR circuit. Quiet area and easy free parking on the road.

Mary's house is very nice and the center of Tours is very easy to reach on foot or by transport. The neighborhood is not interesting but the accommodation is great. There were 6 of us and we were comfortably accommodated. In winter when the garden is not very accessible 6 would surely be too many to fit around the table inside but with the terrace and mild temperatures it was perfect. The host was very efficient in his explanations despite a busy professional period and everything was very well organized for our stay. A property to keep if we return to Tours! Thanks Mary for this perfect place.

The place is beautiful, well arranged and very spacious, with lots of quality amenities. There were 7 of us and we all had a great time. I would recommend it 100%.

Functional apartment, very well located in the heart of the center and close to the banks of the Loire. Large free parking. Entrance either through the building lobby or through the enclosed garden. Very short stay of an evening, very warm welcome. Immediately made us feel comfortable.

The view is magnificent. The short walk on the Loire to get to the center is a useful daily workout. The house is tidy, comfortable and equipped with everything. Surrounding beautiful nature, only birdsong and hopping squirrels. And yet close to the city. Have a nice vacation.
