Beautiful discovery and first experience in a cave house. Nice, beautifully decorated and quiet house. Friendly and available host.

we arrived at night, under a beautiful starry sky, without light pollution and accompanied by the singing of the frogs. The place is very quiet, the cave aspect creates a very warm and quiet cocoon. The cottage is very well equipped, the walks and places to visit are really close. Christine is very responsive and does not hesitate to make herself available if needed

An atypical, charming and timeless place! A great way to decompress, change your mind and discover this beautiful region. Chenonceau and Amboise are 10 minutes away by car. Katia also proved to be a thoughtful, warm and very friendly host.

Christine was wonderful - so very welcoming and helpful. It was such a fun experience to stay in a troglodyte house! The bathroom was absolutely stunning! I love this area of France, there is so much to do. I have been coming to this area for years and would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in Jean-Luc's charming little troglodyte house. It's in a great spot - the views over the valley are truly spectacular, and it's in the heart of the village. The space was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the cool of the cave section in the heatwave! And our kids loved being cave people for a few days. Thanks again for the warm welcome and great stay.

Very good stop. Our little kids loved sleeping in a cave! It's a little cool but there is heating if needed and summer it must be great. Joel's welcome is at its best! Thank you for everything

A lovely house filled with history. The host Anne was very helpful and friendly in the run up to our stay and throughout our time there. She also speaks very good English, which was very handy for us! The house is really well equipped and in the heart of the lovely village of Nazelles-Negron. We stayed with our two young children and only needed to use the downstairs of the house as there was plenty of room. There is also access to a washing machine, which is handy! The house and garden are well looked after and very interesting to explore. Overall a great place to stay in a lovely corner of France!

absolutely unique stay in this atypical place! From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the charm and originality of the place. The interior is a true mix of modern comfort and character. The setting is also very nice, offering a totally different experience from traditional homes. be careful ⚠️ before booking and putting negative reviews, if you are looking for perfection in the absence of dust or other small details , it is not for you . we're in a cellar under the rock .....

We loved our stay here! Naomi was wonderful and the cygnet was so charming! We did have a hard time with local restaurants having challenging hours, but there are plenty of options in neighboring towns! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here! It was peaceful, beautiful, and unique, and we would definitely recommend!

Very good place to accommodate 10 people! Lots of outdoor and indoor games! We had a small problem with the induction cooktops and Jean and Chloé managed to find us an extremely quick solution. I highly recommend it!

The cottage is perfect for a family weekend. Amboise is within walking distance from the gite. The pool is very nice and the place encourages idleness . I recommend +++++

We came to spend a week with the family and Arnaud's place was a very nice place to meet us all. Everything is well planned to be comfortable for 15 people, even in terms of outdoor furniture! . At your disposal darts, ping pong, badminton, swimming pool and/ or jacuzzi... well located for visiting beautiful castles! Thanks also to Arnaud for his kindness and responsiveness in answering all our questions 😊

We occupied Karine and Antoine's place for 5 nights at the end of April 2025. Karine and Antoine are very welcoming, considerate and available hosts. They can give you good advice if you are looking for a good address or ideas for activities nearby. The beauty of the region and the breathtaking view of the Loire from the terrace creates a small haven of tranquility. The accommodation is very clean and well appointed. Since it's a cave home, it requires some small learnings that contribute to the charm of the experience. We highly recommend this place if you want to discover the banks of the Loire or visit the castles of the Loire.
