The property is quite close to the retreat. Since it's on public grounds , don't be surprised to see people on the front porch. The fire pit is shared but there is a beautiful spot for a hammock by the creek. it was such a lovely spot day and night. we loved the cottage and all our needs were met. the woodwork is lovely with many original fixtures. we got zero data service except by the chapel up the hill which suited us just fine. we'd love to come back in the fall.

We loved our stay at Tricia’s whimsical, boho home. The artistic, multi-level layout was perfect for celebrating my daughter’s 5th birthday weekend. The space had plenty of room, creative decor, and nostalgic touches like the Wii, which my kids loved. My daughter was able to relax with Bluey upstairs while I prepped meals and unwound after our days exploring nearby Madison. We visited the Madison botanical gardens, children’s museum, and Capitol, and enjoyed two local diners with great food and reasonable prices. A couple of great surprises made the trip even more special: Fireman’s Park across the street had an outdoor movie night (Moana 2), food trucks, a splash pad, and an updated playground. Tricia also surprised my daughter with birthday cupcakes and a gift card to Woolly’s Snack Shop, where we got ice cream on our way home. Lots of sleeping options, games, and puzzles made the home even better. Tricia was super communicative and we’d definitely stay again.

Apple Maps couldn’t find the address that was provided and took us to the wrong location. After googling the address we did arrive and notice that at the property there is an “S” in front of the numbers and that was not provided to us. It was also stated that there was AC but it was a portable ac unit that we would have had to set up if we wanted to use it and only knew about that after messaging the host. The service was pretty spotty and couldn’t get any tv signal. Thankfully there were a few DVDs provided for us to watch. However, the host was extremely responsive and kind, the home was beautiful and clean and comfy we left a day early only due to the rain that wouldn’t stop. We would stay again if we are out in the area but would be more prepared and bring games and movies!
