Blacksmith's workshop

In ancient times, the house was a blacksmith's workshop with his small adjacent home. Recently renovated in a contemporary style, it has become a two-story residence of about 80 square meters. On the ground floor is the living area with the dining table, kitchen, bathroom and a wine pantry, reached by a wooden staircase with staggered steps. A second black iron staircase leads to the intermediate mezzanine where the study is organized. The balustrade becomes the worktop and overlooks the double height. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom. The floors are in resin-coated concrete and part with tiles in recycled cement paste; the upper floor is finished with parquet. Particularly unique are the vintage furnishings, the lighting of the rooms and the contemporary art paintings by a young Sicilian artist-designer. The house is equipped with winter and summer air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV and dishwasher. A few kilometers away is the beach of Porto Palo (Blue Flag) with the possibility of boat trips, ultralight flights and bike rentals. Nearby, less than a 25-minute drive, you can play golf at the beautiful Golf Verdura Resort. The most important archaeological sites of Sicily are easily reachable: Selinunte (15 minutes), Cave di Cusa (25 minutes), Segesta (45 minutes), Eraclea Minoa (40 minutes) and Agrigento and "Scala dei Turchi" (50 minutes) To visit: the city of Sciacca, Sambuca di Sicilia (Borgo più bello d'Italia 2016), the Literary Park of Tomasi di Lampedusa in Santa Margherita (15 minutes), the "Cretto di Burri" in Gibellina (30 minutes), the Stagnone di Marsala (Mothia), the Saline and the city of Trapani, Erice (all about 60 minutes by car) The city is well connected to Palermo's Falcone Borsellino and Trapani Birgi airports, both within an hour's drive.

This lovely dome shaped bungalow is in the heart of Maragani, one of the most breathtaking beaches in Sciacca. The bungalow itself is located in the gated community of Residence Oasi. It is set back off the main road that leads to the beach of which is only about 200 meters away. There are about 40 bungalows in total, each having its own private property and gated entrance making it very private and secluded. Although we are in a rural area wi-fi and cell phone reception is available.

Salvatore is one of the best hosts I've ever had! Very sensitive and friendly person. At check-in, we were very tired from our day of travel, he noticed this immediately and left us our room. I thought that was great and very thoughtful! The apartment is as in the pictures, relaxed neighborhood and very close to Sciacca. You can find everything you need there. Salvatore's secret tips and personally created travel guide for the area was very helpful! The location, the surroundings, the apartment and the host are highly recommended! Beautiful! We loved the stay. 👍👍 The grounds are very beautiful with a great environment/landscape around it. In addition, the grounds are optimally maintained. Our 2-person room was also nice. It was clean and tidy. We were even greeted by the hostess with a homemade cake. The only point where we do not give 5 stars is the location in terms of accessibility to sights. The nearest town, Sciacca, is not far away, but you have to drive quite a distance to reach the well-known sights of Sicily. Therefore, a rental car/car is definitely recommended at the accommodation. The two hosts made a very pleasant impression. Communication was very easy via the Airbnb app's messenger and you always got quick answers. All in one, we definitely recommend the accommodation! If you have a car, it's definitely worth it! We wish the hosts all the best! 😊🙏

Debora's place is amazing! 5 minutes walk to local beaches and about 10-15 minutes walk from town. there is plenty to do and supermarket and great restaurants close by. The area has a rich history and there is plenty of attractions locally and in driving distance. Debora has a long list of fantastic recommendations and was very responsive and helpful with all our questions.

Lovely stay to relax and explore Sciacca and Agrigento. Would definitely recommend the Valley of the Temples if you can make it. The property is in a stunning location with great views and is incredibly private. The pool was a delight during the warm days and at night you could see many stars in the sky. We loved staying here.

We really enjoyed the beautiful, charming and calm place of Pasquale and Federica ! The garden, the threes, the bright rooms with the open kitchen, a perfect place to calm down, read a book, cook your own dinner... And the pool was just what we need after visiting the amazing temples in the area. A Highly recommended place. The hosts Pasquale is very relaxed and friendly. We could enjoy the fresh eggs and delicious plums from the garden.

Charming accommodation, on 3 levels, with a quiet patio at the back of the house and a top floor reserved for a master suite with balcony and sublime view of the port. Everything is very clean and very well-equipped. Alfonso is a charming host who provided us with a complete guide to all the places to visit or to eat. A gold mine to discover the treasures of the region! Sciacca is a pretty town and despite the long-standing works in the port and never finished, we had a very pleasant stay. And if you have a car and are a fan of archaeological remains... you will be delighted!
