“Comfortable country house, very pleasant for a romantic getaway and total detox in the great outdoors. Passing in winter, Ricardo welcomed us very warmly. In addition to the radiators, we had self-service wood for the stove which gives the accommodation a very cozy chalet feel. The bedding is amazing. The surrounding landscapes are magnificent with beautiful perspectives for walks and hikes and breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. Possibility of going for bread on foot in Javierrelatre at 1 hour walk by the paths and / or the road. This village has very welcoming inhabitants, including a bar restaurant with a quality / price ratio that defies all competition. The proximity of the free motorway also offers the possibility of discovering Huesca or Sarragosse where we went shopping in one of the largest areas in Europe. I highly recommend.”
Our house is two minutes walk from one of the most spectacular climbing areas in Europe. We're surrounded by beautiful countryside, with sports like rafting, kayaking, via ferrata and of course climbing nearby. The village is next to a large colony of vultures, which makes for great birdwatching. The house has stunning views from the large terrace, and a real fire for cosy evenings. Our place is good for people who like walking / climbing / outdoor sports.
“We only stayed at Nicky’s for a short time but it was amazing! The location is definitely worth even a short stay! I will definitely be going back to stay longer. Nicky’s place was super clean and her and her husband were quite friendly despite us rolling in a bit late. I always appreciate flexible check in times especially on a road trip. Loved that Nicky had made a thoughtful little “manual” for your stay that could be found in your room. Overall I was very pleased. Also if you’re a rock climber don’t even think about staying else where.”
Beautiful house of 1.000 years of antiquity, totally reformed conserving its rustic charm, located in the pre-Pyrenees of Huesca with multitude of possibilities
“Review in Spanish. English review below. Esther and Juan Carlos are lovely. They welcomed us with open arms and were very aware of us throughout our stay. The house is cozy, with all the details you can imagine. In addition to important services for a stay with children, such as a good laundry and other dishes, the house has everything you need to cook and have a pleasant stay. At night, the house is dark and silent, perfect for resting. The children were happy with the kittens and became friends with the adult dogs and cats. Estallo has a million places to walk, ride a bike and bathe in rivers and lakes. The valley itself is spectacular but it is also close to the Ordesa National Park and places to ski. At the entrance of the house there are maps and information to spend days and days in the region, but before any doubt Esther and Juan Carlos also offer help and ideas. We hope to return soon. Esther and Juan Carlos are lovely and were terribly welcoming. The house itself is very well equipped. Not only does this offer facilities such as a dishwasher, but you have all the tools one might need in the kitchen and have a pleasant stay. At night all is dark and quiet, so that we got the rare chance to sleep in every day. Our boys played day and night with the kitten and made friends with the grown up cats and dogs, who were all friendly and happy to be carried around and stroked. Estallo offers all kinds of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking and outdoor swimming. Detailed maps and other information about these activities could be found in the lobby of the house, but Esther and Juan Carlos were also happy to come up with ideas and additional tips for perfect family trips. We left with a heavy heart, hoping to return in the near future.”
