Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Little Italy, San Diego

Jeff and Amador have really done a fabulous job make this apartment warm and beautiful. And they were so pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. The building, and location were first class. The view of the church out the living room window was a plus!

Perfect location in the building; on the same floor as the gym which was a nice perk. Rooftop is beautiful. Location is perfect, we were able to walk everywhere or take a short uber/lyft. Unit is clean, bright, modern, & refreshingly minimalist. Parking was only a small challenge over the weekend but we always found something right on the park or reasonably nearby most of the time. Tucker was super responsive with any and all questions leading up to and during our stay. We plan on trying to book this very unit again in the near future as it felt like the perfect little home away from home. Thank you Tucker!

Josh was an exceptional host that was flexible with my check-in and offering local recommendations/guidance to make my trip memorable . He was quick to respond when i had questions during my stay. The apt exceeded our expectations and the bldg amenities were great bonus. My wife and I are already working to plan to book again real soon….highly recommended this amazing rental!

Charlotta was very helpful with the instructions and communicative. The apartment was perfect for our stay to watch the Padres play. Lots of walkable things to do. The apartment felt like home and was comfortable. Easy check in and checkout. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone you wants bay and city views.

The host and unit were awesome! Perfectly located in the Gaslamp District just one block away from Fifth street which was full of activities on the weekend. Easy walk to the waterfront, loved sitting on the balcony people watching, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The place was very spacious, well decorated, and had all the kitchen amenities. We cooked in 2 nights. CVS within 2 min walk and Ralph’s 7 min walk. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here a second time! Make sure you drop people off/unload in front of the unit to avoid making others wait to park and don’t get a giant car - the garages are a tight fit like everywhere else in mission beach.

Glad we found this place, it was perfect for an impromptu getaway for my husband and I!! We stayed here for a couple of days and we loved it. The place is nice and clean just as described in the pictures. The host was very friendly and provided all the necessary information in advance. We would definitely book this place again when visiting La Jolla.

The place was super clean and exactly as described . check in was easy and everything we wanted to check out around La Jolla was only a seven minute to fifteen minute drive.

This was a GREAT place to stay for weekend getaway. The place was all we needed, clean, INCREDIBLE location so close to the beach and boardwalk, walking distance from great restaurants and bars. The property management team was so responsive, gave crystal clear instructions, and was flexible on our early arrival and request for a delayed departure. We would easily stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped—perfect for our needs. The welcome snacks were a lifesaver after our late arrival, providing breakfast for the next day. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive. Staying for a month, we especially appreciated the excellent storage solutions, which kept everything tidy and made it feel like a real home (not a hotel!). The towels, bath towels, and even beach towels were clean, soft, and much appreciated. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to San Diego—highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Johnathan and Cindy's place. It felt like home for our almost two week stay. The kitchen was very well appointed with every cooking utensil you need, the bed very comfy, just everything you need. Our thoughtful hosts planned every detail, with little cute signs all over the appartment. We hope to be back, thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Our stay was smooth and peaceful without any issues. The apartment looked exactly as in the pictures. The host is very responsive and willing to help. I would definitely be staying again when we visit San Diego.

I loved how spacious, clean and quiet the resort was. The lobby was nice as well. Things did start off bumpy with the host I checked in with, she was trying to take her lunch and her co-worker was in training so unable to check me in without help. So evidently I interrupted the lunch of said host and she was angry and let it be known. I expressed it wasn’t my fault she was having to work while on lunch but we were already checking in an hour and a half late and did not want to wait for her lunch to be over. I was not angry with the host, I understand her frustration but also, I’ve never been asked to wait to check-in until the employees lunch is over. Overall the pros outweighed the cons.

Amazing stay and phenomenal location near Pacific Beach! Volans Realty were amazing hosts and always extremely quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had. I would highly recommend this for any group looking to stay in San Diego.

Felt incredibly welcomed by John and made it feel very comfortable for family of 4. Great location in a good neighborhood, quick to access to freeways for easy activities throughout city. Will definitely visit again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Tim’s cute and serene French style home. You can tell that Tim and his wife put a lot of thought and care into providing their guests with a wonderful stay. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs that I have ever stayed in and had the fanciest amenities, like L’Occitane bath products and Nespresso coffee. It was well stocked with all the tools we needed to make meals. The towels were so soft and smelled great. The beds were very comfortable. The back yard was stunning and was very private. There were plenty of towels for the pool/spa. The heated pool, which costs $75 extra/day to have heated, was worth it during the June gloom weather. The location was very convenient to the 5, 805, and 52 freeways. There was spacious parking in the drive way, enough for 2 cars. I would advise any guests to avoid parking on the street, because the neighbor across the street is territorial about the street parking in front of his home.

Our family had an amazing time. Perfect place to spend family time together. The rooftop outdoor space was a favorite spot for all of us. Convenient location. Quick walk to Bay and good local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Very beautiful house with many locations nearby to go hang out, the home itself was very cozy we would love to stay again

We had a great stay at Tina’s Place ! The location was ideal for getting around ! There was 11 people in our group ages 2-70 and we were very comfortable! We were able to walk to the beach ( about -10 minutes) as well as to restaurants, shops , bars, etc. the house was central enough to make a short drive to La Jolla, Coronado , Point Loma and of course downtown. In about 20 minutes. The beds were comfy and the backyard was spacious for kids to runaround ! We would definitely air bb again

Loved this place! It was very small inside the house but truthfully we spent all our time enjoying the beautiful backyard. Lizette was very accommodating and understanding about everything we asked for which is very appreciated. Would book here again.

The house is clean, spacious, and has great decorations. We find it comfortable to stay in Lawrence's house. The host was also very nice and called us to ask whether there was anything we needed to make our experience better. However, there are about 10 high stairs to the front entrance, which is not ideal for people who have difficulty climbing stairs or young children. It is not a big deal for us, but we do have a toddler, so we need to be extra careful to get in and out of the house. The kitchen would benefit from having an electric kettle, so getting hot drinks (tea, instant coffee) would be easier.
