Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place. Beautiful inside and out (pool, patio dining, garden), modern, and immaculate. Everything was high quality from five star bedding to the well equipped kitchen. Hostess Jules was very responsive and friendly…The property sits in a nice neighborhood high above Christchurch, and our favorite part was on the other side (a short drive) - Taylor’s Mistake Beach and the world class walking trail above and past it. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was really nice.

Rebecca and Pete are absolute amazing hosts. The house is perfect with everything you need, lots of private outdoor area, huge deck and a hot tub. Very kid friendly with a sandpit, trampoline and toys. We felt like home!

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

This place is 5 star! The house is very comfortable with recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, and is fully equiped - down to coffee pods for the coffee machine. Reverse cycle A/C (aka 'heat pump') means that the house was easily kept comfortably warm. Wood and kindling are provided for the fireplace. Off street parking is secure (behind an automatic gate). We didn't use the barbeque, the outdoor dining area, spa pool, gym equipment in the garage, or the skateboard ramp.

This is a very beautiful house and I am sure anyone will fall in love with it.The interior of the house is beautifully decorated and quite tasteful.There is a beautiful pool outside the house, extensive lawns and a small pasture with sheep, cows and chickens.Fresh eggs can be picked up in the chicken coop daily. If I ever come back to Christchurch, this is my only option.👍

We have stayed at 6 different locations around Canterbury in the last year. This one was the best so far - great place to stay, warm and beautifully decorated. Amazing view with great hosts. Cheers Tony and Justine

Great value with a great host. The place is just as it is in the pictures. The place is very warm and comfortable. Great backyard and perfect for a family stay. Very handy (walking distance) to Selwyn Sport Centre and also the aquatic centre.

Good suburban location just north of city. Just a 10 min or so drive into city. We stayed here at beginning and again at end of our trip. Family appreciated the space to spread out and relax. Had everything we needed in kitchen and appreciated the nespresso machine and milk frother to enjoy cappuccinos every morning before heading out. Host was very responsive to inquiries. We had a small issue parking with a very large SUV as it’s a very long narrow driveway and we didn’t want to back out all that distance. And very limited space at front of house. But with host advice was able to turnaround by pulling onto grass and pivoting back out. TV had all the major media apps like Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, etc. and nice central air/hear controls, etc made things easy. Sadly we did not have time to enjoy the back yard Would highly recommend if looking for a more spacious home to set up base from with a rental car. If you need Ubers, they arrived in 2 to 3 minutes.

Tracy’s home was the perfect getaway for our family. The house is not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable. Traveling with two infants, we had a few extra needs, and Tracy went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Communication was clear, quick, and helpful throughout our stay. We’d happily return in a heartbeat!

Wonderful stay at this breathtaking Airbnb. Amazing sea view made every morning feel special. The house itself was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Would love to come back anytime!

We had a wonderful stay at Na’s place. It is set in a lovely street so handy to everything in Halswell. The air bnb was great, very clean and perfectly set up to cater for myself, my daughter and 4 year old granddaughter. The owners are so friendly and communication with them was fantastic. Would highly recommend this air bnb and will definitely use again when back in this area.

The house is gorgeous and we felt it was a privilege to stay there. The morning coffee watching the sunrise was a real treat. The attention to details and the extra starter supplies were a real special touch. The house was amazing and opening the Oceanside doors brought nature to us! We will stay again!!!

A great place to stay. The property feels brand new and was very tidy. The location is excellent, just a 1 minute drive to the Palms shopping mall, which made everything super convenient. Francesca was a great host - clear, responsive, and very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jess’s place. She was very proactive, friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Loved the way how she has decorated the house. Every corner was a depiction of her creativity. Definitely recommend her stay if you’re planning to stay in that area. 10/10

We can’t recommend Blake’s property highly enough. The views are simply spectacular, the house is warm and inviting and the area is great with lots to do. Blake’s communication was excellent and always responsive. We look forward to returning again soon! Sam

Cannot recommend Brendon’s place enough. Absolutely amazing place with all amenities and in fact the most I have ever seen. This place has created long lasting memories and we will be back when we visit family again!

I had a lovely stay at lirons, and she’d left a few treats to enjoy over my stay. Highly recommend!
