Gather with coworkers, friends, and loved ones for a Magic show in a mystical country thousands of miles away! In this experience, I will use multiple cameras, screens, and other devices to place you right in the middle of amazing magical demonstrations in my studio in Lima, Peru. I will start by performing some sleight-of-hand demonstrations (you can name ANY playing card and I will find it instantly!) and swiftly transition into more mysterious pieces with Peruvian themes and artifacts. This experience is fully interactive and depends entirely on the choices that spectators make along the way. You WILL change the outcome of the show- although, sometimes, I might just predict it! Cooking for me since I was little has been an act of love, an art to enjoy and with which you can learn a lot about the history of a country and its people. Peru is not only a gastronomic place par excellence, but its food and everything that the kitchen means to us is what gives us identity and makes us feel proud. In this interactive experience we will learn together to prepare a delicious Peruvian ceviche, its ingredients, processes, sauces and a pisco sour to toast together for one of the most emblematic and delicious Peruvian dishes. I will teach you the techniques and secrets that I have been able to learn over the years and although I am in my house in Peru, you will have the opportunity to prepare two of the most exquisite Peruvian recipes and with the supplies you have in your country to adapt and that you can do it yourself at home. The most important thing for me is that despite the distance, we feel that we are together and that when this interactive class ends, you want to come to Peru and we can meet personally and try together what we now do remotely. We will talk about the history of enslaved Africans, since their arrival in Peru until today, from their jobs, homes, meals, trades, joys and sorrows, but we will focus on the intelligence and genius they had to meet their needs for expression musical devising percussive instruments with, food, animals, plants etc. You will know instruments never seen before and that some are collectibles, which were executed since the 16th century and you will experience how our Afro-Peruvian ancestors felt the music and how we continue to feel it today. We will show you the evolution of these instruments and as the "Cajón", it has become the most versatile instrument in the world. . You will learn to play our Afro Peruvian rhythms through; "The Cajón" we are sure you will fall in love with its sonority, versatility and beauty. The classes of cajón will be done in group and individual formats, allowing the performer to master the basic sounds of Peruvian black music. The rhythms that will be taught are: Landó, Panalivio, Tondero and Festejo 350 years of slavery translated into a wide artistic, culinary and cultural wealth that today makes Peru a beautiful country.
