We were just going from Mt Gambier to Adelaide later in the afternoon and looked for somewhere to stay overnight to break up the trip and were lucky to find this cabin at short notice at Easter! It was a great place to stay overnight and would have stayed longer if we could. The host was very helpful and also makes his own wine which was excellent and helped in having a relaxing overnight stay😊

Excellent apartment for a quiet getaway! We stopped at Carpenter Rocks for a small break on our travels, driving from Adelaide to Melbourne. A very pretty little town - don’t expect much night life! The apartment is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. Very clean and new. A comfy bed and good wifi. I highly recommend this as a destination.

We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Very short walk to the beach across and not too far from Mt Gambier and shops. We'll equipped with all the essentials and very clean. Only issue would be the weird smell that lingered in the bedroom in the outhouse but wasn't too problematic. Andrew was very informative with his instructions and replied to our questions straight away. Would definitely recommend.

Our group of 4 couples and 6 kids had a fantastic time here over 3 days - we came with provisions so hardly left the property at all. There were kids toys for the little ones, and they had so much fun in the big open spaces. They had fun watching the farm animals too (sheep and horses), and played with the 2 lovely dogs. We also played cricket in the nets, tennis on the court was great fun, we dipped in the pool (albeit a little cold in early November!), went for a few jogs, ambled around beautiful surroundings, and generally had a magnificent time. Thanks Sara and Wal for hosting us, we would happily go back in future.
