To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Welcome to Lillehammer's perhaps most stately house with apartment over three floors. Newly renovated in 2020 in one of Lillehammer's oldest farm buildings dating back to 1659. From the balcony you have an amazing view over Mjøsa and the apartment has sun from sunrise to sunset. In the apartment there is a new large kitchen, dining room with table space for 8 and a large living room with a nice sofa and large TV, bathroom and guest room. The house "Gammelstua" (the Old house) is a loghouse from the mid 1880es, a rustic and charming home on a dairyfarm in Gausdal. Lots of well thought through details inside and outside the house. Educational barn visits for animal lovers and delicious sourdough bread (and more) are on the menu for those who desire homemade farm products.

The house is located on a farm. Nice and quiet. Short distance to nice nature experiences. 300 m to nice trips with cross-country skis in winter, nice hiking opportunities in summer. Approx. 25 min by car to Lillehammer city center. (14 km) 30 min to Hafjell and Hunderfossen. If you want to ski in the mountains, it is about 15 min. by car to Fåberg Vestfjell. Large garden, so nice for families with children. It is recommended to have your own car☺️

Charming cottage in the courtyard

The Eldhuset is an old, charming farmhouse that has now been given an extension with bathroom and kitchen. Thus, you have everything you need in this small house that is located in the countryside. There is a double bed in the main room/living room and three beds up on a loft that you have to climb up to via a rib wall. There is seating for 5 people at the dining table and there are 4 armchairs in the cabin.
