The Stables

Situated in Rowland Flat on a three-acre property, the stone cottage was the original tack and feed rooms for Mr Rowland's stables. Separated by a courtyard the stables are now the home of the host. The cottage is comprised of a truly delightful bedroom with an antique double bed with stunning garden views; comfortable lounge room with TV/DVD, CD/radio, books and games; light and open equipped kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, large electric frying pan and breakfast bar overlooking gardens through french windows (provisions for continental breakfast); the bathroom has both separate shower and claw foot slipper bath, toilet and vanity. R/c air-conditioning/heating and ceiling fans throughout. Access from the cottage to your own verandah with garden spilling over…serenity…the perfect spot for breakfast, coffee or bottle of local wine. Enjoy walks through our vineyard and paddocks and come across surprises such as our free-range chooks, wood fire pizza oven, an array of interesting seating and more. Incredible views across the valley floor to the imposing ranges or, bordering our property, the beguiling North Para River (in winter a roaring, cascading joy to behold or in summer the rock based riverbed allows access to caves, a geologists delight) and the birdlife is bountiful. Use of the swimming pool is available in the warmer months.

Also walking distance to Langmeil winery, Peter Lehmann, Z Wines etc Breakfast provisions are there for guests to either have a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms or continental breakfast.
