Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Licking County

We really enjoyed our time at Shome on the Lake at Buckeye Lake. I wanted a quiet place with our own personal pool and hot tub for a relaxing vacation with my kids and it did not disappoint. Aaron was very kind and quickly responded to any inquiries. He did not hesitate to ensure we had everything needed to have a pleasant stay. We went catfishing nearby on the lake and caught many very nice sized fish. Pulled in two ginormous catfish right off the dock of the BNB but unfortunately they snapped the line before we got them all the way out of the water. The little cove where the house sits is perfect for kayaking. Considering that for our next trip! We had such a fun time and will certainly be back. Thank you Aaron for all you did for us while on our trip. We sincerely appreciate you!

We have family in the area that we could have stayed with but wanted privacy. There are only two other houses within sight but they are acres away. I love the farm atmosphere and the warmth of the old but well maintained house. The host was very responsive through out the entire process. Highly recommended and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Beth was SUPER responsive and helpful. We had the best time playing games together and we loved the layout of the house. I had completely missed that there was a basement with a ping-pong table! We were there for my eldest's college graduation (approximately a gorgeous 45 minute drive) and it was perfect. Thank you, Beth!

Jeanette’s place was absolutely perfect for my husband and a few employees to stay while they worked nearby. It was very private and extremely clean and comfortable. Jeanette was also very easy to talk to and work with, and most importantly, very accommodating to their needs. We will certainly book again when they are back in town for work!

This property was so peaceful and perfect for a large family traveling. plenty of space to spread out. Venkata, the host, was quick to respond anytime I contacted him and worked through a little mishap we had with me perfectly. We were in town for a family wedding so we were so grateful to have a beautiful base to work from! Thank you!

We absolutely loved the place! Quiet neighborhood, walkable restaurants and bars, private backyard, and close to a beautiful lake. The home was clean and we'll organized, as well as well stocked. We plan to come again next year!

This was a perfect house for my daughters (ages 11 and 13) and I to stay in! It has a huge back yard, which my daughters loved playing in, and is in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. When we had a small issue with the furnace, Ado and Cindy (co-hosts) were quick to respond and went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable. This was an issue that was completely out of their control and which they worked quickly on to fix. They also checked in on us daily to make sure they were doing everything they could for us, which they were. They went above and beyond, which was truly appreciated! For any equestrians getting ready to show at the Brave Horse Horse Shows, this was a great location! Only 10-15 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

Very cozy. She had everything you could possibly need! Including toaster and blender even though we never used them, it was nice that they were available.

Loved my stay here. From the outside nature sounds and views to the quaint interior, this place was just what I needed for my stay. Jimm and Kerry were amazing host, very responsive and accommodating. Whenever I am back in the area, I will definitely return to this gem.

Jennifer’s place was wonderful! Her and Dick were very hospitable. My husband and I traveled from out of state to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday. They allowed him and my daughter and her 2 kids to meet there and enjoy their beautiful outside tranquility garden and they even built us a fire in the fire pit. They had popsicles and toys for the kids as well. They went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable. I would highly recommend their Airbnb. A very enjoyable stay and some wonderful memories were made!

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. My husband enjoyed fishing at the pond. He caught tons of blue gill, a very huge catfish, bass, and crappie. I enjoyed sitting in the gazebo listening to the water fountain it was very relaxing . The pool was very clean and was heated, so it was always at a comfortable temperature . The master bed on the main floor was really comfortable, and the sheets were super soft. This is my husband’s dream home, it’s amazing. FYI if you’re looking for pots and pans in the cabinets, and you don’t find them. Just look up above the stove . lol ( we saw them hanging there earlier)

A perfect weekend stay for us, while we were in from PA for our sons’s wedding. While only 20 minutes from his venue, we discovered Hangar ‘46 is a perfect venue for a wedding as well! Gina and her son, Miles, were exceptionally kind and engaging in conversation with my husband, teenage sons, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and me. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! I’d love to be able to return to this gorgeous and unique rural property!Thanks so much!

We enjoyed staying here there was plenty of space and the lot was beautiful! However the floors were very creaky and made it difficult for my infant and little ones to sleep. Other than that we had a good time.

We used a long weekend to get away with some extended family. We had an absolute blast! when we encountered a tiny problem, Greg was responsive and helped within an hour. I highly recommend this place for people looking to get away! we had a blast!

The most beautiful cabin ive ever stayed in! Location is beautiful in the country but also close enough to the city for any amenities👍

Our stay at The Bunkhouse was better than we could have expected. The hosts are incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. Check in is simple. The cabin is one of the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed. Quality craftsmanship throughout, beautiful lighting and decor, the linens and beds are SO COMFORTABLE. Sauna and hot tub were very roomy and top notch. The pond was mostly frozen so we couldn’t fish , but we still enjoyed the beauty of it while sitting by a fire outside. The open burning fire place inside was one of our favorite parts. The hosts really have thought of everything, down to luggage racks in the rooms so your suitcase doesn’t sit on the floor. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything and more you might need. Just an exceptional experience. Don’t hesitate to book this.
