Good starting point for hikes to the Kickelhahn, to the Bobhütte, Gabelbach or Rennsteig, for bike rides on the Ilmradweg or individually, motorized for tourist destinations in Thuringia

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. The vacation rental is located in a 100-year-old house. It has been environmentally renovated and is fully equipped. The Rennsteig runs 1.5 km away. Hikers will find the ideal place to relax and a starting point for beautiful hikes in the immediate vicinity. Altenfeld has a beautiful forest pool and in snow a toboggan run not far from the house. The living room offers a comfortable couch as well as a 55 "oled TV with Netflix and MagentaTV. In the bedroom you will find a 1.6x2m bed and from the kitchen you have a nice view of the place.
