Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lesotho

My family and I were expecting an opportunity to spend some time in a traditional Basotho village, and to experience a way of life that has been passed on for thousands of years. And we got that, and so much more! We are a family of four, with our two children being 17 and 28. We were accommodated in traditional housing, which was very clean, well tended, and we were always cool inside during the day's heat (when we might take a nap), or warmed in the light chill of the night. Houta's cooking was impeccable, and she shared her cooking style with our son, who is an aspirational chef. We were never hungry. We were also never bored. David worked diligently on providing a customized activity plan, based upon our interests which we had shared with him through emails. For the four of us, we were not only welcomed into this home, but we were welcomed into the community. This village is beautiful, it's people warm and welcoming, and we made friends forever, and we will return.

Justice is an awesome host, very personable and makes himself available whenever you need while being respectful of your space. What a welcome back to Lesotho. If you want an authentic experience in a place surrounded by nature yet not too far from everyday supplies, this is the place to book.

This was an amazing stay, peaceful quite perfect breakaway from our busy lives taking in the nature and surroundings. I can recommend this place to anyone and will definitely go back. Refiloe's place is very clean,a peaceful surrounding. A place to be if travelling with kids. Aus Refiloe is very friendly and quick to help when needed. We will definitely book her place when visiting Lesotho again and will recommend to anyone traveling to Maseru to use Refiloe's Place.
