In the summer there are great hiking opportunities in the surrounding area and a short distance to Lesjaskog lake with very good fishing opportunities. Here you get both a central location, as well as a quiet place where you can retreat after the day's activities.

Bjorlitoppen, Rånåkollen, Asbjørnsensdalen og Bøverfossen er verdt et besøk. Leietaker vasker selv. Evt kan det kjøpes i tillegg til kr 950,- Sengetøy og håndduker er ikke med i prisen må tas med. Koia ligger ved inngangen til Reinheimen nasjonalpark, og er et flott utgangspunkt for turer i Tafjordfjella. Koia er også et fint utgangspunkt for turer i Romsdalen. Koia ligger for seg selv, men du kan kjøre til døra. Koia har ikke innlagt strøm og vann, men den ligger nært til elva hvor det er fine bademuligheter på sommerstid. Utedo.
