“Arthur’s Log Cabin exceeded our expectations. The cabin in tucked away in the heart of Daniel Boone National Forest and is a registered historic place. Across from the property lies a hill with beautiful wild flowers (which was a dream for my fiancé who loves creative journaling) which is lovely to look at from the rocking chairs on the front porch. Each morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the deck where we watched the hawks glide overhead while listening to the birds sings and the tranquil sounds of the creek that is nestled at the bottom of the hill. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for our little getaway. We explored Flat Lick Falls, which was a bit crowded near the waterfall but we hiked off the beaten path and found several spots with mini waterfalls to cool off in which was refreshing. We also hiked 7 miles through the Pinnacles where the views were breathtaking; we enjoyed a nice lunch at one of the overlooks where we were greeted by 2 Turkey Vultures. Our 2 pups joined us and enjoyed every minute of their puppy vacation. We highly recommend Fletcher’s cabin. Fletcher was extremely kind and quick to respond. Hope to go back soon!”
Newly renovated cabin full of hand made furniture in the heart of the southern region of the Red River Gorge. Convenient access to popular four wheeling areas including the new off-road park as well as the world class crags Gold Coast and Dark Side. Natural Bridge State Park and endless hiking trails in the gorge proper are just a 15 minute drive away!
“LOVED this stay. Authentic, rustic cabin in the woods. Nearby natural bridge was awesome. The road the cabin is on leads to a network of ATV trails, which was a great hike in and of itself. Host had fantastic communication, when I arrived in the dark and thought I'd never find it - I did, of course. (It's a less worried find by day.) No internet, no service . . . you can hop in your car and head to Miguel's for both. (Their internet was still going, though they're closed for COVID-19.) Thank goodness I still made this trip - stress melted away. I suggest you do the same.”

“We booked the cabin last minute and Fletcher was extremely communicative and accommodated us on short notice! He gave clear directions on how to get to the cabin that were very helpful. We came from the opposite direction and ran into a closed road but a helpful neighbor gave us directions to the cabin. We did not expect to be staying in a cabin as rich in history as Lake Creek Cabin and were pleasantly surprised by all of the books and information on the Lake family. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch in the morning and there was a friendly cat who befriended us. We wish we could have spent more time exploring the area around the cabin. This place is so peaceful and serene and a beautiful drive to get there. The cabin was comfy, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you, Fletcher!”
