“We spent 3 midweek nights at Scott’s place in mid-June. The weather was perfect, high 70s/low 80s and sunny. When we arrived we were greeted by Lynn who led us down the wooded path to the lake, where we met Scott. There he introduced us to the Hobies - kayaks with the option to either paddle or pedal. Scott and Lynn were so welcoming, as it is now rare to be greeted by your host of Airbnb. It added a personal touch that we much appreciated. We loved the cozy and clean feel of the house. There was so much to do (or not do) depending on how much one chooses to relax, disconnect and unwind. We spent most of our time either cooking/grilling or on/in the lake. Everyone we met on the lake was kind and charming. Scott’s place had everything we needed. Kitchen and bath essentials were provided, there were so many games, dvds, books. It was a superb getaway and I hope to return. Oh - and we slept great and were definitely cool enough at night with just the fans on. I highly recommend!”

“A hidden cottage gem, surrounded by fireflies in the evening and bunnies during the day. The property is exactly as described. During a time of social unrest and pandemic, this was more than a welcome respite. We had the entire place to ourselves, which made social distancing a breeze. The owners communicate swifty and kindly. Our puppies loved the freedom of roaming the lovely grounds. The only hiccup is lack of ac. However a mute point when someone visits during the colder weather season, which I'm sure is breathtaking at this airy cottage, with its wood burning stove. Thanks again for a much needed trip away from the city.”
