We welcome people from all backgrounds to our home. We live on a beautiful farm in a Colonial Style, 2 story home. The farm is situated between Wodonga, Beechworth & Yackandandah on the North East Tourist Drive. Our comfortable guest retreat is upstairs - 2 bedrooms, dinning, lounge & kitchenette area & a large bathroom . Downstairs has an extra bathroom. Guests are welcome to enjoy the 168 acres, to walk, picnic or utilize our central position as a base to explore the region.
“Nicole and David’s Place is situated in the beautiful Victorian countryside between Albury and the historic town of Beechworth. The place is quiet, with beautifully appointed bedrooms overlooking the hills. We had the entire first floor to ourselves, which comprised 2 bedrooms, a spacious lounge room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. It is an ideal stopover on your way from Sydney to Melbourne. Beechworth is the place to visit to learn about the legendary Ned Kelly gang and enjoy the historical and cultural aspect of Victoria. Nicole and David are fantastic hosts. Nicole made sure we had enough supplies for a lovely breakfast and made us feel at home. We can’t recommend this home highly enough. Thank you and Happy New Year!”
Our backyard offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Wodonga. The bungalow is cosy with its own bathroom and private courtyard where you can either hide from the world or use it as a base to explore the region. The enclosed backyard is safe for pets and small children.
“Can't ask for much more for a road-trip stop-over. Great location, really easy-going owners, quick hello upon entry and then straight into the warm cosy bungalow to relax/unwind. Great little secure yard for my dog, and I did a few hours work at the desk in the morning with coffee and cereal provided. Happy days!”
Just a short walk away from beautiful High Street with cafes and restaurants, the Sawmill Cottage is the perfect cosy country escape. This beautiful self contained one bedroom cottage has everything you need for the perfect time away.
“We absolutely loved our stay at the sawmill cottage. Such a sweet little cottage with a gorgeous expansive garden. Close by to town and walking options. The fire (in addition to the reverse cycle heater) ensured we were cosy and warm. We even enjoyed cooking and the view out the kitchen window made doing dishes on holiday bearable. We did not get a chance to enjoy a soak in the beautiful bath so will have to go back!”
