Northern Lights guides usually stop outside the cabin because it is a particularly nice place for the Northern Lights. Great location right in the neighborhood of Lyngsalpene (Ittunjárga). A nice starting point for trips and activities in summer and winter. If you are looking for the northern lights, you will be able to experience a fantastic northern lights in the winter. The cabin is nicely located surrounded by mountains and sea and the perfect place to experience the Lyngsalpene or just to relax. The cabin is located about 90 km from Tromsø Airport (2 hours drive including ferry). It is possible to rent the sauna in the annex for a daily fee.

Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Lyngen is one of the world's most beautiful and undisturbed Arctic regions. From this exclusive cabin you can enjoy the northern lights in the winter and the midnight sun in the summer. The cabin is by itself, with a spectacular view. You can hear and see the ocean from the terrace. You need to walk up 140 stairs to the cabin, or walk the access road. You can be a bit shocked by the steepness, but it's worth it :) You can not drive up so you have to be a bit sporty to rent this place.
