This is a lovingly refinished 1915-era folk Victorian rescued from demolition and relocated to the banks of the Cannonball River in Mott, N.D., near the Badlands, Black Hills and agrarian prairie country. The porch is great for watching sunsets, wildlife, fish jumping in the river below and the occasional prairie thunderstorm rolling in. Stars like you won’t believe. The interior is a mix of arty eclectic and 50’s retro. I love this cottage. You will too. Kitchen ware, towels, bedding provided.
“The cottage is adorable and we were endlessly entertained by the quirky spaces in the house. The house was clean, cozy, and well appointed. One small thing for those traveling with little kids, and this is not in any way a knock on the house, but I didn’t notice how steep the dropoff is to the creek from the pictures. It’s gorgeous and wonderful for the sunset, but I had to keep an extra close eye on my kids to make sure we didn’t leave there as a family of 3 instead of 4. Great communication and easy check in and check out!”

“We stayed two nights at Elizabeth's place on our trip to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The location is a bit far away from the park, besides that everything was great. The underground rooms are super cool even in summer time. Elizabeth is a great rancher/hunter/photographer. You will be inspired by her storys about the national park and local life, much more interesting than what you can get from google.”

“John's place is stylish and comfortable and an absolute pleasure to stay at!”
