Verblijf in een tropische villa en geniet van de continue bries van de Surinamerivier
“48 and Sunny lives up to its name. The location is beautiful and above all calming. The house is modern and functional, with stylish furniture and practical electronics. You can enjoy carefree here, especially because of the safe feeling you get with the security cameras outside the house, the expertly built-in alarm system and the child-friendly environment. In addition, the hospitable Roos keeps an eye out from time to time to ensure that her guests are still having a good time and that everything is still in order there. Even if you are indoors, you will experience the fresh delicious breeze, so you hardly need the fan. You will hardly get bored in 48 & Sunny. With a "bicycle ball" table, a swimming pool, and the creek at the back by the pool you create your own balance between peace and entertainment. However, it would be more pleasant if there was a door closer to the pool, but it is by no means a deal breaker. The days in this spacious and modern villa were very Sunny and certainly worth repeating!”
A typical Dutch colonial house with three floors, and garden, located in the historical center of Paramaribo (UNESCO World Heritage, with buildings from the XVII y XVIII centuries) within walking distance of most of the touristic sights in Paramaribo.
“This home is very charming & about 10 minutes walking to the center. WiFi worked great and the fan was enough to keep cool. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there - she went above & beyond in every way. She and her daughter are lovely to spend time with, and she is an amazing cook!! They were extremely helpful in providing local tips & helping find things around town. It was just an overall fabulous stay made even better by the family. I recommend staying there - you will not regret it!”
15 meters from main road, Indian, Chinese, Javanese restaurants within walking distance. Ideal for students and backpackers. Entrance in front of the house.
“This is a great choice for your stay in Paramaribo! It's not in the centre but you can easily get there by taxi or bus, or even a longer walk. It's also in a nice area with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Ravin and his daughter made us feel very welcome and gave us a wonderful introduction to Surinamese culture; we learned so much just from listening to them. They also have great tips and contacts for visiting places in the area to complete your Surinamese adventure. The room has most things you need to cook your own meals, however there are plenty of other food options in the area at very affordable prices. We didn't have any issues and would definitely stay here again!”
