Cute little cottage located in a peaceful country setting about 10 minutes from local attractions like downtown Asheville and several local breweries. Also only about 20 minutes to the Biltmore estate and the beautiful blue ridge parkway. We look forward to hosting you at our piece of heaven!
“Amanda & Butch's spot is perfect for a getaway that's close to Asheville but still feels like the country, as many have noted before! The hillside that they live on is gorgeous, and we enjoyed reading and eating dinner out on the Adirondack chairs and table outside. The place was SPARKLING clean, which, during COVID, is a very important factor when it comes to travel. We're so thankful that they take the time to maintain its cleanliness as well as they do! Something to be aware of, which you may be able to see in pictures, is that there's no bathroom door, since it's somewhat studio-style. This wasn't a problem for our stay, but something to keep in mind if you're visiting with a friend/family member that you'd need more privacy with. The toilet is around the corner, so visibly, it's no sweat, but thought we'd mention that! Again, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend to others who are looking to travel right now.”
Country setting and close to town - the perfect mix. Just a short 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville and the River Arts District. Completely unwind in this peaceful setting - relax in a rocking chair and listen to the sounds of the bold creek. The beautiful studio apartment, located in the daylight basement of our home, welcomes you after a day of exploring. Nearby attractions include: white water rafting, hiking, and all the wonderful restaurants, breweries and shops of downtown Asheville.
“I highly recommend Randy's place to anyone travelling to Asheville looking to stay in a rural setting just outside the city. The house was easy to find with the extra directions Randy provided, and the downstairs suite had all the amenities you could want or need for a short-term rental. The apartment was very clean. I appreciated being able to look out the front door and see nothing but pasture, creek, and a barn. The walkway and stairs from the parking area to the basement entrance were very nicely designed, with concrete, gravel and pavers to keep your shoes clean even in the rain, along with motion-activated lights every few feet to illuminate the path if you're returning after dark.”
This 100 year old farm house bungalow is part of the Buncombe County Historical Preservation Society. The home has a private setting in the country with a ton of charm. Even though it is out in the country, it is still close enough to town, which makes it a great country getaway. This room is quaint and cozy with easy access to the bathroom next to it. I also live on the property with my boyfriend and one other male roommate.
“Jamie is a great host and makes you feel at home, even before you get there! She is quick to respond and has a lovely place! This will be the first place I check if I am in need of a place to stay around Asheville!!”
