The Magnolia Hotel Guest Suite is located in Seguin's charming Downtown Historic District. It was once listed on the "Top Ten Most Endangered Places in Texas." After six years of restoring this historic stagecoach station, frontier hotel, saloon & brothel, the owners, Jim and Erin are finally allowing overnight stays. The period decorated second floor 5 room single suite/apartment has been restored to its original glory days. It's perfect for couples, travelers, and paranormal enthusiast.
“The Hotel is very clean and cozy. It has a lot of history and the host did an amazing job with the place to allow you to understand each spirits history. There is a little secret you will find out when you actually visit. We heard a few noises and got a males voice on our recorder. We had a small mishap, nothing bad but it all worked out. Erin is an amazing host. 10/10. Must go!!!!”
If you like being in the country watching horses, wildlife, and enjoy beautiful quiet wide open spaces then this is the place. We are an hours drive from San Antonio or Austin, and 30 minutes to New Braunfels and Gruene. If you get tired of swimming in the pool, sitting on the back porch watching the horses, wildlife and sunsets there are many other things to do depending on the time of the year. Just let us know what you are interested in and we can point you in the right direction.
“We LOVED Bob and Carla’s place. This was the first time my husband and I stayed in a guest house through AirBnb rather than an entire house. We were nervous about that but the place exceeded our expectations! The property is beautiful and we found ourselves walking around enjoying the scenery several times throughout our stay. The hosts, Bob and Carla, are not intrusive at all but are extremely accessible and will help you with whatever you need. Be sure to bring some apples and carrots so you can feed the horses (SO FUN)! Bob also offered for us to wake up early with him to help feed the cows but we never got up early enough to take him up on the offer. Haha. Sunsets are gorgeous on the property and they have a nice outdoor seating area to sit and gaze at the view so be sure to bring some wine or whatever to sit and relax during the evening times. The pool is a nice amenity to have and we definitely spent a fair share of our time lounging in the water. Bob even spent one of our evenings with us and we talked for a few hours — he’s extremely friendly and made sure that he wasn’t ‘imposing’ on our vacation (we didn’t mind at all...we loved talking with him and actually kept asking him to stay and talk with us. Haha). Their dog, Lady, is precious and a complete sweetheart; I would have taken her with me if they had let me. The location is great! We spent one day at Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels and another in San Antonio at the Natural Bridge Caverns. We were about 30-40 minutes away from New Braunfels and about the same distance away from the caverns. Bob also recommended a BBQ place to eat in Luling called City Market BBQ. It’s about 30 minutes away but WELL WORTH the trip. It’s delicious! Just make sure you have cash as they don’t take cards. As I said before, this place completely exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back! Bob made us feel like family and we couldn’t have asked for a better host! Do yourself a favor and book with him for your next trip!”

“This space was perfect for our Memorial Day Weekend getaway! The location, yard, deck and outdoor space are sublime and the relaxed island vibe truly transports you. Cannot recommend this spot enough- Vicki and Will were absolutely lovely hosts and very thoughtful and kind.”
