The house is located on the shore of Lake Scanno. Let yourselves be conquered by landscape, nature, silence and intimacy. At the ground floor there are the living room with kitchen and a service bathroom. At the first floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Scanno is far away 3km.
“Sonthis was by far one of the bests experiences I have ever had on Airbnb. The house was super clean and cosy and had everything you can think of. The views of the lake stunning! Angelo was the best tofosi and host! He helped us with everything and made it so easy to travel with my baby daughter!! I highly recommentd this spot on earth and this house by the lake.”
My accommodation is near Sulmona, a stone's throw from Lake Scanno and the Abruzzo National Park. My accommodation is suitable for couples and hikers who love tranquility and nature. Inside the WWF oasis Gole del Sagittario where bears, wolves, deer, golden eagle, coral crap and other rare and interesting animals live. There are many species of rare or endemic plants such as the Sagittarius Cornflower.
“First of all, the town: a hundred houses perched on the ridge, all surprisingly well-kept despite the very few inhabitants. A breathtaking view of the Sagittario Valley and perfect silence, broken only by the chirping of swallows (at least in June, when we stayed). Castrovalva is an isolated and peaceful village (the only small bar open only on weekends) but easy to reach, with a perfectly paved winding road that in two minutes reconnects to the regional one that leads to Antwerp and Scanno. The house: obviously quiet like the whole village, it is striking first of all for the view of the bedroom from which it is possible to admire the Valley even while lying in bed (or, for a wider panorama, going out on the balcony). Only by spending a little time, however, we appreciate its functionality and attention to detail, which make it comfortable and beautiful to live in all times of the day. In conclusion, a splendid place for those who want to spend time in peace and in contact with nature, while remaining twenty minutes by car from the main centers of interest in the area.”
Bright and spacious apartment, on one level, in the center of a village in the valley of the river Giovenco. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature or to visit the various villages of the Park.
“San Sebastiano is a small town located a few kilometers from Pescasseroli and the most beautiful places in the Abruzzo National Park. Fabio's house is very spacious, clean and equipped with everything needed for the living room and Fabio, through his parents, welcomed us and followed us for the whole holiday with great kindness as well as giving us valuable information on places to see, places where to eat and a thousand other information. If you really want to switch off, I recommend spending some time in San Sebastiano pampered by the attentions of Fabio and his beautiful family.”
