“Stefano's accommodation was a wonderful surprise, from the photos it is not clear how big and spacious it is. I went to Lecce to take the university admission test and thanks to the location of this house I was able to easily move on foot. Also since I was without a car Stefano came to pick me up when I arrived ... really a very kind and reliable person, always available for any request during the whole night. I was very satisfied!”

“Before booking to Marco's house, we noticed the amount of positive comments about him but we didn't imagine he would have been so kind! We received a fabulous welcome with a fresh drink and chating with him was like we have been friend from a lifetime! The room we stayed in was very welcoming, inside we found a map of the city and several tips on where to eat and what to visit. I advise you to go to Marco's house because it is not just a place to sleep but here you can find a real sense of sharing and hospitality! The best host I have ever had in my whole life. Thank you Marco, see you soon!”

“I stayed in the studio apartment for 12 days, and I was very pleased with my stay. Michela was so kind and quick to respond to all messages. She and a high five from her son were the highlights of the stay! The apartment was clean and equipped with the basics: sink, electric burners, an assortment of pots, pans, plates, and silverware, small fridge, and a tiny moka pot. There was also some salt, coffee, sugar, a few teabags, and some chocolates. The apartment is equipped with a TV and air conditioner. There is no washer in the studio, but Michela kindly let me use the washer and detergent in a different apartment when it wasn’t occupied, which I hugely appreciated. The Wi-Fi was strong enough to stream Game of Thrones, which was a top priority of mine! ;) Apart from the proprietors, the location was the best thing about the apartment: it is (at most) 10 minutes on foot to the train station or the cathedral. I made it anywhere I needed to go in Lecce in 30 minutes or less, and I was utilizing resources outside the historic center. There are a few small markets within throwing distance for necessities and there is a nice wine shop just a few doors down. As a young-ish solo female, I always felt safe walking nearby at night or early in the morning. The bed is springy, and the pillows are not the best, but I was so tired I slept fine each night. I found a blanket in the dresser that I pulled out for when it was cold. There is some noise from outside and other apartments, but it was not bothersome—what apartment has no noise? There are drapes that block out a lot of light and during the day, which I appreciated for naps. The only things I would suggest would be a fan for air circulation or screens on the windows. I love having the windows open but without screens, a few mosquitoes and flies found their way into the apartment. The pillows also need upgrading. Tiny things! But for the price, everything was great, and I appreciated the hospitality. I would recommend Duca Rooms to anyone who wants basic apartment accommodations in Lecce. Thank you, Michela, for the great stay!”
