Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.
“This cabin is a fantastic little romantic getaway in the heart of Cajun country. The setting is perfect for a weekend getaway with plenty of options for dining within driving distance. We found the cabin jus as described and the pictures do not do it justice. Coffee on the porch is a must!! If you’re traveling through Cajun country, stay here for a night or 2. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back! Thanks Larry!!”

Mama Sue’s is a converted 160 square foot red barn shed with a covered front porch overlooking the beautiful grounds of St. Charles College. We have a Murphy Queen-sized bed, shower, antique sink, small refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Walls, bed frame and trim are crafted of palette wood, creating a crafted rustic look. We are within walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. It’s a historic, beautiful peaceful place where you can rest your mind and refresh your soul.
“Cool little place, only a 1 minute walk from the main street in Grand Coteau. Short drive to neighboring towns of Sunset and and Arnaudville.. We loved Chickorys (great people, delicious breakfasts and coffee) and the Kitchen Store (olive oil and balsamic).. Over in Arnaudville, Little Big Cup was a cool spot to sit on the Bayou. And the beer at LA 31 is solid; the pizza spectacular- as good as almost anything In philly or new york .. Host was very communicative. And the place has everything you could need for a short stay. (We were a couple and a 2 month old; stayed 3 nights) Definitely recommended. Great value”
