Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Leakey

The place was everything we had hoped for and then some. Everything was so well thought out, tidy, and well-appointed. Fantastic entertaining areas with tons of seating. Quiet, private and gated. It really felt like home. There were a few household items we forgot to bring, but they were already there. There is also covered parking! Easy river access - stone steps even the little kids could easily navigate and no crowds to hassle with. There was a stone patio with a table and chairs by the water's edge and the expansive area along the riverbank is gorgeous. We had 8 kids from infant to pre-teen and all had a blast - swimming, bicycling, hot tubbing, playing pool and yard games. Plenty of room for our large vehicles and UTV trailer. Owners are very helpful and are ready answer questions or address any issues immediately. Definitely a return trip in our future!

We enjoyed our stay there. This was the second time we stayed at thus place. This is a very nice, quite and private place. Very close to the river. This is not a waterfront property, the river is across the street at a very short walk.

This place absolutely exceeded all our expectations! The cabins were fantastic, and the sunset views from the hot tub were truly unforgettable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the living room offered plenty of space to relax, and the beds were very comfortable. The host was exceptional—responsive, easy to work with, and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing trip. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning!

Had a lovely few days in hill country at this place. Very peaceful neighborhood, no loud neighbors , plenty of birds chirping and occasional deer trodding by. Bandera isn’t the most lively town, but if you were searching this region for a place, you probably know what you’re getting into or this is close to what you’re attending or visiting.

This house was clean and organized very private and also our kids loved the pool and game room and had a lot of space to run around outside.

The house is nice and cozy. you immediately feel at home, the lake is very low. there's no way to swim in it. if you're looking to walk around and have a hiking adventure then you're in luck at Pebble Creek Park. there's nice restaurants and bars and around Dollar general is about 4. Melissa has great communication skills, we really enjoyed the pool that has a gazebo over the top of it and a barbecue pit right next to it. overall we had an amazing time, it was quiet and we were able to hang out, relax and have a great time. they had plenty of supplies inside for us as well. as in towels, toilet paper, soaps and etc. Overall, it was very worth it

We are using Airbnb very often for work-trips/ leisure and this is possibly one of the best properties we have booked ! Super clean and equipped with everything you might need ! The patio and outside area is amazing ! Wonderful view and so peaceful to sit out there and do birdwatching . We can fully recommend this property !

This place is one of the prettiest places I have ever been too! So peaceful and quiet. You feel like you have this whole place to yourself. The sunsets were stunning! I can’t wait to go back.

I decided to do a mini staycation. So I wanted a place with a pool and large yard so we could just hang out for a couple of days. Huasong’s place was perfect! Everything listed was accurate. Bonus, pool came with floats & floating volleyball net and basketball hoop already inflated! We used the fire pit to make s’mores! It was great having a bbq pit to use. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and mini golf. There is also workout equipment in garage. What it doesn’t have are tv’s in the bedrooms, but that might be a good thing!

Tabita’s home was truly a “home away from home” for us during our stay this week for our son’s BMT graduation. Though the pictures were great, in person, the property is truly outstanding! All bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas are open, spacious and really accommodated our large family gathering. We appreciated the setup of the home such that almost every bedroom had a private bathroom. This allowed everyone a bit of quiet privacy in the morning and evening and helped in getting ready for our early mornings at Lackland AFB. The kitchen was pristine and well-equipped. We made all our meals here instead of visiting restaurants with our large group. We were able to cook, bake, grill and clean up with ease! Plenty of seating, extra linens, board games, ping pong, and a beautiful outdoor space were all amenities that our family was very thankful for! Our family has already been asking if we plan to rebook when our youngest son goes through BMT! Thanks for the hospitality, Tabita!

We loved our stay at Kim's ranch! The house had so many daily necessities that all I needed to do was order my groceries. The kids were never bored and Otis was too cute. If we're ever back in the area, I know where we're staying. 😊

We wanted peace and relaxation and we got it! We spent our honeymoon on Gracie’s property, and it was lovely. Had access to hot tub, pool, and fishing dock. Close to town. Host is super sweet and accommodating. Hope to get back soon.

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

We loved our stay. Had everything we neaded in the house. Very comfortable & cozy. Loved the peacefulness & serenity of it. Was a little further out than we anticipated from anywhere but was told that in advance. The wildlife was awesome. The kids loved the outdoor shower. Definitely recommend to others.

Looking for a true Texas camping refresh? Get to MEMMIES FARM! Serene surroundings, flowing river near a huge Cypress tree, super private with both shade and sun for your vitamin D fix! Port a potty’s and outhouses are an awesome plus for tent campers! Ellie was the sweetest host meeting us at the grounds to welcome us in and get settled, answering all of our questions! We got to swing in our hammock, cook over a fire, star gaze, swim, play music, and our dogs absolutely had the best time! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Ellie! I needed this peaceful little vacation more than you know! It was PERFECT!

We had a wonderful stay. We felt like we were able to unplug and enjoy the lakes and hiking trails. The home itself was clean and comfortable. We had a great time!

We always enjoy our stay here. We love seeing the birds at the feeders on the porch. It's a great location for visiting Lost Maples State Natural Area.

Lovely and private location on the Frio. The home has a wonderful floorplan featuring two living spaces. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, living area, large dining area and elevated outdoor patio that gets a nice breeze in the evening. The downstairs has a bedroom but an additional 3 futon that the kids enjoyed sleeping on and a full bathroom. The downstairs area also has a large covered patio area. The home has a well stocked kitchen, is very close to restaurants, stores & Garner State Park. We will definitely stay here again. Temple was quick to reply and very helpful with questions I had. The coffee maker has both drip and pod options. There is not a dishwasher so you will need tonhandeash dishes. We got paper plates to make it easier when our group was larger. There are several stores in the area for groceries but I recommend getting most before you get to Leakey as they will be cheaper.

Great location! Updated , fresh cabins, clean and well-taken care of. Fabulous pool to splash in after a morning of biking.

Cool spot on the river and very well maintained. The surrounding neighborhoods isn’t great, but once you are in the property you don’t see anyone else. Well stocked place. Would recommend

The location is beautiful, the house is very spacious, spotless, well equipped with all one needs and some lovely details. The outdoors are also great, the view and all the places where you can just relax. Would definitely stay again!
