Tours: The castles of Bricquebec and Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte are medieval works that are worth checking out, with its 11th century keep, Bricquebec has obtained the "City of Art and History" label and the city of Saint-Sauveur was the creative refuge of Barbey d'Aurevilly. Sensitive to local architecture, walk to the church of Vrétot and take the opportunity to tour this ancient village with beautiful views of the countryside. The small house of the dunes is located at the foot of the immense beaches of Barneville-Carteret, opposite the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey…) Close to the village and its shops. (5-minute drive - 15-minute walk). The accommodation is located in a quiet and pedestrian hamlet with 4 tennis courts (private) and a petanque court. The beach is very close to the house (10-minute walk). The small house of the dunes is classified as furnished tourist accommodation (3 stars).

Come and enjoy the area in this small stone house located in the countryside, in Sottevast, Cotentin peninsula, almost equidistant from the 3 coasts: Cherbourg and La Hague, Barneville-Carteret and the landing beaches. 5 minutes' drive to all shops. Ground floor: 30 m2 living room with stove and well-equipped kitchen + washing machine / Wi-Fi Upstairs: 1 bedroom + bathroom (shower, toilet). Sunny, quiet terrace with barbecue + sunny and shaded garden with deckchairs.

Cosy, rural, comfortable apartment plus terrace.

Our ground-floor apartment is close to Barneville-Carteret - sea plus forest. This apartment is entirely separate and a completely private space with its own bathroom and small kitchen. There is one king-size bed, or this can split into two single beds - please advise preferences. Sunny enclosed terrace. The apartment does adjoin the gite and our house next to it, so some minimal noise is possible between the internal walls of the properties.

Small cozy house in the countryside

Very charming little house ideally located in Cotentin! The nearest beaches (Surtainville or Rozel) are 10 minutes by car. Bricquebec (arts and history village), charming village is also 10 min by car. There are 2 supermarkets as well as the traditional Monday market. Valognes, medium-sized town (sncf train station), is only 20 minutes from the house. Finally, the East coast with the landing beaches discovery circuit is 30 minutes away.
