Beautiful Barn in Aubrac

We had an absolutely PERFECT stay at Christine's, Le Timon in Laguiole. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Christine, a host of great kindness, always available, communicative and with very good advice. She made our stay even more enjoyable with her kindness and knowledge of the area. The accommodation is simply exceptional: decorated with a lot of taste, every detail is thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and well-being. It immediately feels like home. The surrounding environment is beautiful, soothing, ideal for recharging. A huge thank you to Christine for this unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back, it's a certainty!

"Gîte des lauriers" House with garden

GlenysRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Travelling from New Zealand to stay three nights in this stunning little French village we found Thierry’s medieval cottage delightful. It is spacious and comfortable. We put the kitchen to good use and enjoyed having the opportunity to explore the village in the cool of the morning and evenings when many day trippers had left. The views from the village are truly stunning, and the car parking card a real bonus. Couple of tips, the staircase to bedroom is small and steep. We left our suitcases downstairs, taking whatever required up to bedroom /bathroom area. We would also highly recommend a stop at the supermarket before coming up to the village to collect any basics you may require as once settled in and parked it is a long walk back down the hill if you need some milk. We would highly recommend Thierry’s place and a stay in Saint Criq, a real experience not to be missed. Thierry’s information re location and access are superb! Making the visit extremely easy.

New: 4-person gîte

We had a great stay with Claude and his wife! The accommodation is located in the middle of nature, without any nuisance around — a true haven of peace. The nights are serene, and you sleep wonderfully well. The house is very cute, perfectly equipped, with a lot of charm. The pool is a real plus, very nice to relax in peace. Claude was a particularly welcoming host, sharing with us very good local addresses (including a butcher shop and a bakery) that added an even tastier touch to our stay. Ideal place to relax and unwind!

Maison Rossignol, heated pool & garden

KathrynRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our family of five spent an amazing four days at this beautiful property in the tiny village of Lentillac Saint Blaise in the Lot region. Jean Charles and Annick are such gracious hosts - we received a warm welcome the first evening, where Jean Charles invited us to help ourselves to everything in his vegetable garden and the kids loved gathering fresh strawberries. raspberries, gooseberries and lettuce. On our last morning we had a wonderful conversation about local authors and the history of the region. Every corner of their house and garden shows fine attention to detail and beautiful aesthetic sense. Jean Charles built much of the gorgeous furniture himself in his metal workshop. The pool is just perfect and beautifully maintained for daily swims after sightseeing in the many magnificent villages and sites around the region. Everything was so peaceful and comfortable. The linens and toiletries are top quality. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for a restful stay!
