Whether you are looking for an active holiday or a relaxing break, Les Chouettes is a perfect place to base your holiday. With so much to offer in the surrounding area you won't be short of things to do, and for those days when you just want to stay on site, we have a lovely pool over looking the countryside, to relax by. We are on hand to help should you need us, and are happy to provide information, help you make reservations or even join you for a glass of wine if you fancy some company!

Charming country house

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay at the borders of Dordogne/Haute Vienne and Charente to recharge your batteries as a couple or family. Ideal place for walking in the forest and along the river. You will find in the immediate vicinity: An international golf course (3 km), a tennis court (5 km), equestrian center 2 km away, canoeing activity 1/4 hour away (Montbron) and Lake St Mathieu or Verneuil with beach 20 km away. In the fall, lots of mushrooms for mushroom lovers!

Our estate of 14 hectares of garden, meadows and forests, with 2.4 km of landscaped paths will welcome you to Périgord Vert. You will find 2 cottages, 1 of which is perfect for two people. 180 x 200 king size bed. Beautiful fully-equipped living room. Walk-in shower. Large west-facing terrace, with garden furniture and dining table. Direct access to the large heated pool in season. Bathrobes and towels will accompany you to the spa (jacuzzi and sauna). You are located 2 hours from Royan, 1 hour from Cognac, 30 minutes from Angoulême, 15 minutes from the Haute Charente lakes. There are several hiking trails nearby, including Terra Aventura trails that will allow you to discover the history and heritage of the area.

Built ecologically with its burnt wood cladding, its atypical style will not leave you indifferent. You will enjoy its large terrace and stunning views of the pond on sunny days, as well as its interior with its soft and cozy atmosphere, and its wood-burning stove for your long evenings.

Located in the countryside, in a wooded area, the cabin is 3 minutes from all amenities (bakery, organic grocery store, supermarkets, frozen food store...) and 3 minutes from the heart of Saint-Junien, (weekly market on Saturday morning, covered halls, bars, restaurants, doctors, hospital...). It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

The cottage "La Petite Maison", 3-star furnished tourist accommodation, where it is good to spend time. Located in the middle of nature, in the heart of Périgord Vert, just 3 minutes from Brantôme. You will enjoy staying here for its comfort and tranquillity, with its south-east-facing terrace, jacuzzi and garden (not fenced). PLEASE NOTE: Jacuzzi included for all rentals between May 1 and September 30. Outside of this period the jacuzzi is extra, on request.
