“Bugue station is a perfect place for a holiday in the Dordogne. It is large, well equipped and very clean. Caroline and Gilles made us feel very welcome and we will be back with pleasure in the Dordogne once everything is reopened.”
Situated on the top Bugue city (24 260), in the heart of Black Perigord, less than 30 minutes away from the most beautiful site seing (Sarlat, Castelnaud castles, Beynac, Milandes, la roque Gageac, Lascaux) We are offering to rent a confortable cottage for 2 persons with panoramic views over the valley between Dordogne and Vézère. Large private swimming pool of 11mx6. In an authentic, flowered and wooded environment. Possibility of meal and breakfast extra.
“Perched on a hill overlooking Le Bugue, this was a quiet, exceptional stay for us, with delightful, attentive, generous hosts - Jenny and Marc. Our summertime visit of 7 nights enabled us to explore some of the many unique historic and archeological sites in the Dordogne region. We found plenty of local restaurants and markets of high quality, with residents engaging and friendly towards visitors. We were very happy with our Gite (fully equipped) accommodation, and refreshed by the spectacularly positioned pool and generous garden surrounds.”
Charming guest house located on a 3ha property next to the Chateau de Campagne (remarkable gardens) and 2 steps from all the tourist sites: Lascaux, Sarlat, Proumeyssac chasm, aquarium, Bournat park and much more 'other... La Borie (small stone house) in its natural setting is a romantic room, very comfortable and well equipped with a 160 cm bed, its private terrace and tasteful decoration. You will enjoy a homemade breakfast in a dream setting.
“We had most perfect stay at Evelyne and Noël's Borie. The borie (old stone house) is tastefully decorated and located in a heavenly little meadow, surrounded by grazing cows and horses and a small pond. The town itself, Campagne, is ideally located within Perigord (very close to the landmark archeological sites and touristy cities such as Sarlat) but is in itself very quiet. The highlight of the trip is Evelyne and Noel's phenomenal hospitality, from scrumptious breakfasts to the best tips about where to dine out and what to visit. I would recommend everyone to stay at this little gem!”
