Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lawrence County

This is the second time I stayed at John’s property. It is conveniently located on campus, and walkable to the stadium. The home is furnished tastefully, clean and stocked with all essentials. John also responds quickly to questions. I would definitely recommend checking out this property. It’s a gem!

Price was a little high, but for the university graduation weekend, it was to be expected. Hotel rooms go for $1500 a night!

We were so impressed with everything at Alex’s place. We totally appreciated the snack layout especially - LOL. There was plenty of space for us all. We totally enjoyed the access to the B-line. The decor was amazing, especially as IU grads of the early 90’s. The porch was a great hang. We played cornhole in the back yard. We would definitely stay there again!

Awesome stay in Bloomington. Close to the stadium, short drive to most attractions, and so much room in the house. Michael is very communicative and responds within minutes to anything you need. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back.

As someone who has visited French Lick at least once a you for about 20 years this house is an amazing representation of the area. All the local touches show so much of the history of this area. What a gem! We wanted to bring over pups this time + it could not have been more perfect. Thanks for sharing you home + for all the thoughtful touches. We have many special memories down here + thankful to have added to it this week.

We had both of Amy’s airbnbs over IU graduation wknd. We’ve been staying at the campus house for 4 yrs. I just realized that I left a review for that house on her woodland retreat house (new to Airbnb). Doesn’t seem to be a way to edit, so I’ll comment on that here: Outdoor wonderland! Beautiful! The house is great and comfortable, too! Amy’s artistic eye is obvious :) Having gotten to know Amy during our daughter’s past 4 yrs of undergrad at IU, I can attest that she is not only one of the best Airbnb hosts, but truly one of the kindest people on the planet💚…our dogs agree☀️

This house is so cute, clean and well stocked! The house had nice dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Lots of snacks! Water in the fridge. Helpful notes all around. Bathroom accessories and toiletries just in case you forget anything. And comfy beds! They really thought of everything.

This place was everything and more. Plenty of space for family time and the view is beautiful. We will definitely be using this place from now on!

Great stay overall! We had 16-18 people and the property slept us all comfortably with plenty of space to eat and relax. Much cleaner than other places we have stayed as a group. Quiet neighborhood and great hot tub! We would love to come back.

It was an amazing experience. Rodney was great and actually walked us around at check in and showed us anything we may need to know. Everything about our stay was great, from check in to check out we had a great time and it is well worth the price. There is so much to do at the air bnb as well as the surrounding areas, it is the perfect location for wanting to stay in French Lick and wanting to go to the resort for the casino or go golfing. It is located about 8 minutes from the casino and the golf courses, but the atmosphere makes it feel like you are hours away. It is quiet and you feel safe and completely by yourself.

Absolutely wonderful for families - lots of room for everyone! My kids loved the pool! Lots of thoughtful extras - the snacks in the kitchen were so nice after a long travel day. You can tell they want you to feel at home.

I absolutely loved Denise’s place. She was very responsive and so thoughtful with the extra touches. The area was very peaceful and her place was clean and exactly as pictured. I would definitely stay again and recommend her place to others.

Absolutely gorgeous rural property. Very secluded. The space is clean and cozy. If you wanted a little slice of heaven, this would be your spot. Not only is the property gorgeous but the home is unique with lots of space. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Shannon did a great job communicating, seamless arrival and very clear departure instructions. Everything was as pictured, very clean, organized, would definitely stay here again. Great host!

We loved our stay here. The house has so many rooms, we could have fit more. The different locations of the rooms was great for multiple families. The backyard was the biggest hit (the second was the hot tub) - with multiple playgrounds and lots of room, our kids spent most of the time out there. The dining area had plenty of room and chairs. The host was so friendly whenever we saw him. We would definitely have a reunion here again!

Jordana was the best host we’ve had on Airbnb. Super responsive and extremely helpful. House is older, but great for families. The host was very thoughtful having filtered water in the kitchen and other common sense things taken care of.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. It had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is perfect! Waking up and enjoying our coffee under the new pergola was pure bliss! The birds singing created the most enchanting and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start each day and truly unwind. Highly recommend taking advantage of this beautiful outdoor space! We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cabin for 2 nights, it was very peaceful and the host gave very clear instructions on exactly how to get there. Host was very accommodating and helpful. We loved this cabin it was a nice getaway from a busy city and we would definitely stay here again.

The place was fit for purpose to visit family living 20 mins away: # of rooms/restrooms, kitchen amenities, TVs, linens, and towels. A couple of family meals were thoroughly enjoyed in the dining room. Host also quickly took care of a very minor drain issue.

Beautiful classic airstream with smart updates. The bed was very comfortable and the outside was perfect for outdoor cooking and a fire! Perfect place to relax at the end of a long day of training.

This was my second stay at Cosmic Cottage and it was just as homey as it was on my previous. I was doing some special party prep and needed a kitchen item, Kim responded with the needed item(s) quicker than I could blink an eye! Talk about responsive and proactive if/once she knows you may need anything. I love the cute little front and back porches and I believe there’s even a fire feature now! The neighborhood is quiet and nice I will continue to check w/Kim on availability of the Cosmic Cottage anytime I need to stay in Bedford. And, easy access to all major thoroughfares and minutes to restaurants, stores…. Oh, and the snacks she leaves for you….😋🥰

Had a really great weekend trip here with my dad. I wouldn’t call it “glamping” as it is very remote and not exactly luxurious as the term suggests. The privies are pretty much unusable, but they have a great shower/bathroom trailer nearby. Unfortunately, the AC was broken when we went, so it was extremely hot inside. If you’re not used to camping and being in the middle of nowhere, I’d choose a different place. There was also a wedding during our stay, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use the bathroom as it was right next to the wedding barn and pretty loud throughout the night. Would’ve been nice if we could have been told about this beforehand. Otherwise, we loved it here. Nice to see all the animals as well.

The cabins are so cute. I love the shower house they had set up. The place is so peaceful just a few steps from your cabin door is the field with the horse and alpacas. Unfortunately we were only a 1 night stay as we were passing thru. This is a glamping stay, but I would recommend that you bring a fitted sheet as well.
