"Oh the rolling of the seas are beckoning to me", Come visit Harry's Haven located on the south coast of the Burin Peninsula in a small picturesque town named Lord's Cove. Leave all your worries behind and relax on the deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean enjoying a glass of wine while listening to the tranquil sound of the waves.
“The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s a quaint little space tucked alongside the ocean. The sunset married with the sound of the ocean waves was picture perfect. Make sure to bring some fly dope if you plan to sit out on the veranda! The home was neat as a pin with an open concept. The host was very responsive and followed up with a phone call before check out. Getting to Lords Cove was a breathtaking experience on its own! I would recommend this place for sure!”

“I've stayed in Airbnbs around the world and this is by far the best one yet, in my own province! The house is incredibly beautiful, with stylish decor tastefully mixed with antique Newfoundlandia, some of which I've actually seen in my own grandmother's house! The hosts was quick to respond and available for anything we might need. In saying that, the house was well equipped with many little things, not only condiments and soaps, but binoculars, umbrellas, insect repellent, coozies, sunglasses, board games, roasting sticks, etc....just so many little things that were so convenient that we didn't even think of. When we walked in we were greeted with Newfoundland music, with the light coming through the sunroom, it was so warm and inviting. The location in Point Au Gaul was incredible, I've claimed it as my own piece of paradise, and only 4 hours from my home!! The Strand beach is outstanding. We went for a long walk in search of sand dollars and beach treasures. Point Au Gaul was the perfect location to visit all of the little towns around "the boot" in the loop, as it was located at the "toe". The firepit was a perfect ending to several days of touring. However, it is also perfect for just unwinding in the rear deck near the water and relaxing. Side note, I recommend the halibut and fries special at T N T takeout in Lamaline. YUM. I've never gushed this much about any accomodation, and I highly recommend this house, we will definitely be back. :)”
