Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lava Hot Springs

After a long 10-hour drive, walking into this house felt like a dream. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, with cozy touches that made it instantly feel like home. The bed was incredibly comfortable — like sinking into a cloud — and the hot shower was just what we needed to unwind. Every detail made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing a restful, welcoming stop!

This was a great stay for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds! It was a good home base for visiting over towns in the area, like Soda Springs and Lava Hot Springs. The home was comfortable, the hammocks and outdoor games were a hit, and the price was right. We would definitely stay there again!

We had the best time bringing our kids and grandkids to lava! The house was perfect and the game and theater rooms kept the kids busy for hours. We loved walking all over town. The house and location were fantastic!

Enjoyed our stay with Jodi. She was very helpful in helping us find the house when we arrived and everything was cleaned very well when we arrived. Highly recommend!! The backyard was fantastic

This was our second stay at Blue Pheasant in just a couple months and we couldn’t have loved it more. Jen was the best host and the home was just as comfortable. Drinking coffee outside and watching the wildlife in the morning, and playing cornhole in the evenings just added to this homey feeling. We feel this is OUR Lava place!

Amazingly quiet for having the freeway as a neighbor. It was super cute and clean. Perfect stay for my needs!

The yard was perfect and it worked great for my dogs. definitely recommend! located close to everything.

Pam and Frank’s place is is in such an idyllic location with breath-taking views in all directions. It is removed and peaceful - while only a nine minute drive to downtown Lava Hot Springs, 30 from Soda Springs, and 45 from Pocatello. They have built a beautiful home and are very welcoming and easy-going. I very much enjoyed my stay and time spent with Pam, Frank, Tukka, Maisey, and Remy (last three are dogs;) and would love to return again someday.

I took my wife and our daughter there for a quick mothers day surprise camping trip and can I say how AMAZED I was by the incredible location and beautiful scenic views! Super close to Lava Hot Springs- less than a 10 minute drive. The cabin itself was so cute and so relaxing and just gorgeous views and solitude it was exactly what we needed! Simple layout but so fun for my daughter to explore. Hosts were so sweet and communicative and just so friendly. I honestly cannot wait to rebook with them! This is my new favorite spot. Only thing I think would have made our stay that much better would be an additional motion sensor or even a little porch light by the entrance. They had one by the bathroom and they did also provide access to a flash light and a lantern also, so not really a big deal honestly just would have been easier.

Just right outside of town perfect for our family. Our host called prior to check in and after we got in to make sure everything was good. Thanks for the perfect getaway spot.

Overall, this was a great stay, and the owners are very helpful and responsive. It isn’t in the listing, but there is wifi. I asked while booking and was told they didn’t have it. I was happy to see they did have it when we got there. The location is great. Lava is a very walkable little town, so there wasn’t anything in town that we couldn’t get to within a few minutes. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the front porch people watching ( the bar is at the top floor of the building, so there are lots of people coming and going). We went up to the bar ourselves, the staff were great and the view was amazing. General warning, Idaho only allows a certain number of liquor licenses, so many places serve canned cocktails. I had several excellent ones at a few different places.

Older house cozy, well furnished, quiet and nicely appointed. Jackie was very responsive to our queries.

We used this property to hold youth camp. 15 girls, 7 female leaders, and 3 male leaders. The men used 1 cabin. The women used tents. PLENTY of room and different areas to set up tents. Never saw any of the neighbors so we felt private. Roads were well maintained. Directions were perfectly written. We were able to charge phones and Apple Watches. As well as use the lights hanging in the trees around the fire pit. Awesome ambiance!!! Fire pit had room for our whole group. Plenty of parking as well. We pullled a 14 ft trailer up and had plenty of room to navigate and park. We had two portapotties delivered to handle a group our size so we never used the provided toilet. The bathroom/toilet was less than ideal. We messaged back and forth with host MULTIPLE times and she was very accommodating and prompt!

Was a great stay, the yurt was comfortable and charming the outside amenities were great and the view was amazing. Directions and check in were easy. Five stars for glamping.

The house was great inside. We were three guys traveling for work and the house had plenty of space with three different tvs. 5 min from everything. First time to Pocatello but I’d say the location was perfect. Had a couple issues while staying and Amanda was great to deal with. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a nicer area. On demand water heaters (which my team absolutely loved). This AirBnB actually had several pots and pans which is unlike other ones that I have stayed at in the past. Will be staying here again.

This was a great Airbnb, fully stocked, had everything you would need plus more to be able to stay for a few days or more. It was super clean, only a couple issues we had but Zach addressed them and was very responsive so our stay was super fun, relaxing and we would stay again. My only recommendation is to take ear plugs, the train noise at night was a lot especially the first night but by our 4th night we didn't even notice it and we had fun smashing coins on the tracks with the grandkids. The kids loved the downstairs area and claimed it immediately for their fun and sleepovers, they had such a blast!! It is very close to Lava Hot Springs and we spent most of our time on trails, at the swimming pools and hot springs. We cooked at the Airbnb every meal except one and again I will mention how well stocked this place was with everything you need for the convenience of making all those meals for 8 of us. Overall a 5 star Airbnb!!

We had a great mini vacation in Lava Hot Springs! We loved all the games, the golfing and especially the relaxing hot tub. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful new home in Lava! The property is wonderful with top-notch amenities and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely stunning & the sunsets from the patio were a highlight of our trip. The location couldn’t have been better it was just a quick 3-minute drive to town and close to both golf and riding trails. My son brought a few friends and their motorcycles, and they had an incredible time exploring the areas trails. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for comfort, adventure, and some of the best views in Lava Hot Springs. We’d love to come back!

This is the place! If you’re going to come to Pocatello, this place has it all. Me, my mom and my sister get together once a year for a Mother’s Day get away and this was perfect with our own rooms! The location made it easy to get to all the places we liked! The Hottub is a MUST whenever we go out on vacations, and the grill was convenient for a stay in dinner ♥️. It was an absolute dream! Coming back soon!
