The excellent location to reach the sea of Maratea in 20 minutes and Mount Sirino in 30 minutes. Comfortable and independent. Far from the chaos but near the center
“Pleasant stay in a quiet area close to many points of interest, welcomed by a friendly and helpful Host, very comfortable and clean house. Recommended”
The house is well shielded from the road and the neighbours are a couple of hundred metres away thus offering total privacy. If you want to come and relax and get away from it all then Casa Lauro fits the bill perfectly. The house has two large bedrooms sleeping four and an extra single futon in the third bedroom if needed. A living room, kitchen and bathroom together with an outside shower and lovely swimming pool complete the accommodation.
“Fantastic views and excellent pool, very well equipped spacious holiday home. Uphill we found Lago Sirino to be quite close with several restaurants and a panificio and large supermarket en route. Nemoli a friendly town further down hill with several other places to visit locally. The road to Maratea was good and a day trip to Scario recommended. Suffice to say we would return.”
The house is completely renovated. the color of each room, refers to the colors of the officinal lavender used in the mìsule (ancient castelluccesi terraces) and the colors of relaxation, according to the ancient rule of Feng Shui. In the different rooms, cared for down to the smallest detail by Malù, you will be able to see some craftsmanship, entirely handmade by her. There is also a fully functional fireplace in the open space.
“Beautiful apartment in a village perched in Basilicata on the border with Calabria and with a breathtaking view. Cleanliness and every kind of comfort as well as being very spacious and welcoming. Hospitality by Antonello unexceptionable. Open to sharing will help you and advise you on everything there is to do and see in the surroundings. Great location if you want to enjoy peace and relaxation but at the same time also sea and sports activities (rafting in the pollino). I recommend eating at the Chalet Bosco Difesa for an excellent pizza and visiting the nearby villages, in particular Rotonda where there is always life in the evening and Laino Borgo (a visit to the Lao river is a must). Highly recommended!”
